When the articles of the treaty mandate were broken by the colonisers,,,it was done under the guise under the sovereignty of the queen ,even though maori already had a document called te whakaputanga in which it would be guaranteed that maori could have governance over themselves by the queen herself ,,,,if they the colonisers broke faith with the queens mandate within that treaty ,,,,then wouldn't any laws made under the newly formed new zealand parliament be null and void if they used the queen as head of state
