The Tui Atua title is currently held by Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi, Samoa’s former PM and Head of State. The Tui Aana title has been traditionally held by the holder of the Tuimalealiifano title. The Tuimalealiifano title is currently held by Samoa’s current Head of State Tuimalealiifano Sualauvi II.

Tuiatua and Tuiaana are 2 of Samoas oldest Paramount titles. WAYYY older then Malietoa. TuiAtua was the king of Atua district (east Upolu island) Whilst TuiAana was king of A'ana district (western upolu). Tuamasanga was the middle upolu district.. which never had a Tui title.. and is said to be the place where Tuitonga had the most sway.. Tuamasanga is where the malietoa title arose from after they drove out Tuitonga Talafeii. Interesting. Wish I knew what this song is about.
