Crazy how fast that quad needs to go to keep up and how rough the ride seems to be!
(I’m an old Quad rider and see SXS’s taking the market over!)

Definitely can be pretty rough and hard to keep up. St. Anthonys isn't too torn up when we go, but Dumont Dunes Halloween and other busy weekends out there beat me up pretty bad. The SXS's are taking over for sure. As someone in a household of sandrails and quads, SXS's avalability and ease is just unmatched. I'll stick with my manual transmissions though!

Sad truth that a conventional 2 pivot trading arm on a sandrail makes for better stability on offcamber cornering, the parralel link trailing arm is no bueno. Plus sandrails are way more grounded and not near as top heavy as most side by sides.

Completly agree! Sandrail stability is unmatched.

Sand rails are good at one terrain. SxS’s are good on all terrains.

@@tayalyn08 Thats not really true, while many sandrails are setup for duning the vast majority of buggies and sandrails owners explore all terrains from the desert to the mountains, even some of the milder rock crawling trails

Sounds like you are grasping at straws there is a big difference between a sand rail and a rock buggy thus the name sand rail 😂
