I think for the level 70 talents it would be better to go only 3/5 in Feral Agression and put the 2 points into Naturalist instead. 4% dmg on everything should be better then 6% dmg just on Bite. Personally I would also go 3/5 in Rend and Tear since as you said you don't really use Shred and the Bite crit should be overkill most of the time anyways and put another 2 points into Naturallist. This way you can also grab Omen as soon as you ding 71.
Because the heal is on a GCD you can't shift out and back in instantly. You can shift out and heal instantly but that will do that when you cast the spell. I don't use a macro for any of it. Just heal, then press cat
I use a one button cast sequence macro, just because I'm less likely to fat-finger the wrong thing when shifting. #showtooltip Regrowth /castsequence Regrowth, Cat Form /startattack still have to wait for the global cooldown, and obviously you should use this mostly for pred swiftness procs. feel free to put in Healing Touch if you prefer, but I like having the hot on since healing touch is usually overheal
I think for the early 70s levels getting natural shapeshifting first and then working your way to the end of the feral tree is more beneficial, 4% crit and 10% damage will benefit the mangle spamming much more. The only real drawback is having to start at 1/3 king of the jungle
I know prepatch will be though for kitties but isnt better to go just for OOC instead of Rend and Tear, Primal Gore and Berserk? thanks :) for lvl 70, maybe proc from ooc will be more handy :)
Well, rend and tear is going to boost your ferocious bite, and primal gore will boost your rip. It's a big sacrifice for a proc chance. Especially since rip is going to be what you glyph for, and you're giving up the crit on it.
Quests, you need Reputation w multiple factions. One day extra or two from leveling via questing, vs having to go back at 80, and re-do the content means you spent at least 1.5x the time xd it's troll and stupid to powerlevel like this and will not benefit you unless you're looking to get realm first achievements
@@AsuriTV Well you get extra gold from the quests as max level, and you can fly everywhere. And playing in big server there might be lots of people fighting for quest mobs.
@@tilttiwow Those are great points to consider as well, I believe that the best bet is to prepare for doing both of them, Rotating into dungeons if your "next questing" zone is simply too crowded
not getting furor for such a long time kinda hurts man... the way i always approched it is to get to feral swiftnes asap then get 5/5 furor then go back to feral tree. maybe respec at 50 for mangle what is a really strong skill then get 5/5 furor after. Did you level as feral?
@@griftin could you possibly make a video quickly going through 1-70 for us Freshies? Maybe even just a quick run through of the differences? Much appreciated!
Great insights and ideas for leveling
Can somebody explain me is backstabbing with shred still working in wotlk? If is it works why I can't use shred in leveling with imroving talent?

What’s the healing macro you use to go from cat to heal and back to cat simultaneously?
I’d like to know the macro too

@@griftin thanks :)
I don't got beta access so can't test out. is it better to solo uthkarge keep/nexus as a bear or doing quests as cat.

This isn't leveling 1-80. This is leveling northrend. Leveling 1-70 is very different, you're right. Sorry if I didn't make that clear
