Arshdeep can go a long way for India if he keeps honing his skills. Epecially since we haven't had a left arm pacer since Zaheer Khan or Irfan Pathan. Today's pitch still offered movement. But if can pull off an inswinger on each and every pitch and challenge both edges of the bat, he will surely become one of the opening bowlers of India. Like Starc does for Australia
I am probably the biggest fan of David Miller and I am pleased how he has transformed himself from being an inconsistent and very weak batsman against spinners till 2019 to becoming very consistent and someone who now plays spin very well but one thing that really troubles him is balls on good length.He is pretty good at playing full or slot balls and plays pull shot quite well but most of the times he gets out against pacers on good length ball.He could play that remarkable innings of 101 in semi final vs Australia because he showed great patience and kept leaving balls outside off stump and I am 100% sure that if he had tried to play even 30% of those balls which he left alone, he would have edged ball to wicketkeeper or slips and got out under 20.

South Africa has traditionally been 10x the better team on pink day ODI games. Defeating South Africa on Pink day is a great achievement for such an inexperienced Indian team. A thumping victory without Kohli, Rohit, Bumrah, Shami, Jadeja, Gill, Pandya, Shardul, Siraj in SENA nations is a great news for the future of Indian cricket. I feel like Umran Malik or Shivam Mavi are better options than Mukesh Kumar in white ball cricket.

BTW, Kuldeep is the highest wicket taker for the period between 2019 and 2023 world cups, and Shami is the second highest wicket taker. If we see India's top 13 wicket takers during that period, only Shardul has the economy over 6.25 rpo. Siraj and Bumrah has the economy less than 5. Many of our bowlers were injured or not fit. Thats why Shardul got chance, and did not prove even after so many chances. Siraj took almost same number of wickets in 10 matches lesser than Shardul. Shardul played nearly 40 matches between the world cups, and did produce only one watch winning spell I think. That too with Ban if I remember correctly.
