Aw, bless you thank you, I am doing better than many, luckily I had learned to make videos. I need to update my Etsy shop, a lot of my stuff isn't on there yet! Thanks for your support :-)
As a beginner of watercolour art, I appreciate your lessons as an art teacher. I have learnt so much in your classroom. What I find most helpful is your demonstrations of both the wrong and right way to paint. Thank you !!!

Thank you Michelle. Basics are very much appreciated. I would love to see some well executed landscapes with commentary because I am just not sure what a ‘good’ watercolor landscape is suppose to look like. Classic standards would be great.
Hi Michelle, I'm a beginner and I discovered your channel today, I'm struggling with just everything and other (very nice) people couldn't help me out. So you have to know : you're the best ! You say in one of your videos that you have the less scientific mind... but you have the most factual, clear, detailed and articulate comments to explain things you do to a scientific mind like mine. I'm very grateful, know your efforts are appreciated!
Thanks Stephan, I have a lot of years teaching to draw on, so my students have taught me how to explain things clearly, very glad you like the videos. I have always tried to teach actual techniques, not just creativity, because without techniques creativity is hard!
Fantastic video as always (working my way through all of them) Such a lot of useful content it’s difficult to pick a favourite tip. I’m learning such a lot about colour and colour mixing through your videos. And who knew landscapes could be so interesting and beautiful! I just love seeing examples of your work. Thank you so much 😊
What a wonderful technique video. I'm a beginner and truly appreciate what you've shown us. I love watercolor pencils and now know the best way to use them!! Thank you!!!
I learned a hell of a lot from this tutorial from Michele. I will definitely practice/use the techniques going forward. Thanks a lot Michele. I will follow your other stuff in the future. Robin Topping 27th Nov 2020 Mauchline Ayrshire.
Thanks Michele....I have learned a great deal from this video....my favourite one was working with limited palette....Hope you put up a video of a landscape painting.
Mixing cols on the paper is definitely something i must try. It is obvoius you are a professional teacher as you don't miss anything out, even the most simple fact you give us. Which is what helps us to progress rather than getting stuck at the beginning stages. Also I'm pleased you are Cat Friendly. Would you help by demonstrating how to paint a Black Cat please. Thank you. 😊
Great tips, Michele. I am a huge fan of watercolor pencils for detail, I started that after watching one of your other videos. In fact, just finished a small landscape today, and implemented a bunch of these tips. The horizontal thing is so important, I’ve really been concentrating on that. I tend to get wonky sometimes. BTW, so proud of how you pronounced diarylide! Perfect! Just tripped off your tongue.
Excellent superb video. Thanks so much for the insights. I'm wondering if an artist wants their focal point furthest back in the painting, however, how that would work since the distance is softer, less detailed, and cooler - how to then bring attention to it. Thanks very much.
I just came across your channel and love your tips, thank you for sharing! My daughter, who does not paint, noticed your finger nail polish and is wondering if you would share the color and brand? Sorry, not at all watercolor related.
I would love to, but the truth is I have no idea, a lovely lady called Sophie does them for me, they are Gel nails, she has hundreds of bottles, I just point to the one I want!
It's a matter of getting the correct angles, but I can't tell what those would be without seeing the view. The angles change depending on the viewpoint of the photographer or viewer. Do pop into my Facebook group if you need help with specific paintings ☺️

Tried to ring the bell to log on to new material. It appears that it no longer works. Apparently changes in the law mean that for material judged suitable for children facebook deactivates the bell. Your material is judged suitable for children which is clearly right however it means that people cannot register to be notified of new material. Is there a way round this?
Hi David, clicking the bell on any of my videos will mean you can turn notifications on. This video is set as not for children, I have now set my whole channel as not for children (childrens content cannot be monetized and I am earning ad revenue for this video so I doubt youtube think it's for kids) Try unsubscribing, re-subscribing and see if you can click the bell on any video.
I loved the tip about keeping things horizontal, and the demo with the river path. That was really helpful.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved all your tips but especially using horizontals in sketching and painting the water.
My drawing skills are improving. Glad i started painting. ❤
That's great news, keep going!
I appreciate the reminder that artists such as yourself have suffered economic loss due to COVID and will be liking and sharing. Maybe buying on Etsy?

I took up watercolor during lockdown just to have something to do. Your channel has been so incredibly helpful, thank you.
Happy to help!
You are a great teacher👌
Wow, thank you
Love your style in painting & person. You teach well - thank you for sharing 🙏
My pleasure 😊
I love you. Your tips are amazing and I'm learning a lot by watching your videos.
Thank you so much!
That tip about how to keep rivers looking flat was genius and exactly what I needed!
Great tips. Thank you. I need to give myself more practice time, to work on all I’m learning from you.
As a total newcomer to painting this is such a useful video. The mixing on the paper is a great idea. Love your channel.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for a very interesting tutorial. Some great tips there. 👍👍
No problem 👍
Great video..another~~~and your gel nails did not distract me a bit~!
Brilliant :-) :-)
Thank you a lot ♥️ichele.
Any time!

Thank you !!!
You are so welcome!
Great landscape tips. Thank you.
My pleasure!
I’ve got all my spooks up Michele. A spooooooooooky Landscape would be great with bare trees, fences, and a deserted house.
with some darkness
I did paint Whitby Abbey (featured in Dracula) at sunset with a crow if you want some gothic...
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber I thought Dracula took place at Bran Castle in Romania.

Thanks for the idea!
I got seriously distracted by that leaf ring! Love it! And your tips as well!
Thank you, it was very cheap! I have small fingers so I like things that adjust!
Thank you! Keep it horizontal, got it! :)
You got it!

Love love your style of teaching. Thank you. I learned a ton from mixing on the paper, horizontal for rivers and harmonious color palette.
Wonderful! Good luck with your paintings :-)

Thanks so much. I struggled with making my streams look flat and this really helped.
You're very welcome!
I always struggle with close up grass. I'm going to try and remember the watercolor pencil tip!

Thanks Michele. Mixing on the paper. Best tip for me. 🙂💜
Glad it was helpful!

Great tutorial Michele. I’ve never used watercolor pencils and I appreciate learning how to use them within my watercolor paintings.
Thanks so much 😊
Excellent tips and very clearly explained. Most important to me was to mix colors on the paper not the palette. THANKS
Glad it was helpful!
Great tips! Limited palette is something I will strive for ...i tend to use too many colors !!! Thanks for sharing 🎨
You can do it!
i have struggled with the toothbrush thing. So hopefully this will help
Thanks Michele....I have learned a great deal from this video....my favourite one was working with limited palette....Hope you put up a video of a landscape painting.
You are very welcome, I do have a few tutorials including a sunset one, but will certainly do more in the future!
I found the horizontal zigzag of the stream to lay it down helpful.
I could really see the difference between the two examples.
Angles make such a difference!
Michele thanks for sharing your talent in painting ideas of expressing your images, greatly appreciates your videos. Stay safe
Thanks Philip, you too!
Very helpful. I learned a few new concepts. Thank you

Brilliant, once I had the spelling right it got easier!!
Thank you :) I like to use my Ikea instructions as kindling but your method is just as good ;) Always look forward to your videos.
Thanks Natasha 😁
Don't know if this has been said before, but I find having a limited palette allows me to learn to mix colors better.
Very true!
20k yay you so deserve it, I really appreciate your tutorials thank you Michele ❤
Thank you so much Patricia, have a wonderful day!

Thanks for this video Michelle. Really helpful for a newbie like me. Are you based in London?
No, I grew up in London but I live in South Suffolk now.
What about when drawing a pier with railings that stops in the ocean. Mine always looks flat

Yes I am guilty of wanting to dip into all my colors!
I shall tell the watercolour police immediately! :-) :-) :-)
The water "laying" flat ...no, it should be "lying" flat.
By the way, I do enjoy your videos!
