My grandmother and I had an agreement that when she passed that she would make the lights go on and off at her funeral so I would know that she was okay and that heaven was what it was as we hoped it would be. During her funeral not only did the lights go on and off but the sound system went off while the lady was singing during the service. The lady just kept singing with no microphone and I was completely freaked out. I knew it was my Nana. Lights still go on and off in rooms from time to time. I always say hello out loud and tell her how much I miss her and love her. I also have a cat (Peabody) that sleeps on my bed and I can feel him walking on my bed every once in a while. He passed away years ago. I still cry over that cat. Is it really my grandmother? Is it really Peabody? Who knows. I just know that I feel better when those things happen. I enjoyed your show.

    1962 ish.
When I was a child of about 10 or 12 I was sent to the store for groceries, and saw an elderly neighbour scowling under the hood of his vintage Model T car. I called out to him, but he didn’t answer, nor did he look my way when I crossed the street. I just figured he was getting hard of hearing. When I returned home, I mentioned the incident to my mom, who told me it couldn’t have been him. But I knew it was, and said so. She then told me he had died early that morning, of a heart attack, trying to get his car started.
The temperature in the room seemed to drop at least 10 degrees as I realized I had seen his ghost.
    1972.
When I was 20, I went to a town I was unfamiliar with, to visit my sister to console her and attend my infant niece’s funeral. We were at a neighbor’s house, and not knowing the people, I focused my attention on their little beagle. I put down my hand and called for him to come, but he wouldn’t. The lady of the house asked me what I was doing, and I explained. “We don’t have a dog. It must be the neighbour’s.” I asked what that dog looked like. A while poodle. “No, this was a beagle, and he seemed like he belonged here.” She asked me to describe him, which I thought was odd, but I did so. It was easy since he was right in front of me. Then he ran down the hall, his claws clacking on the tile. The woman burst into tears. “Where is he?” I told her that he ran down into the kitchen, probably looking for dinner. The woman ran off. Her husband was not pleased. He explained that I had perfectly described their dog who had been run over and killed last week. I wanted to go after the woman and tell her I was sorry, but he said I had done quite enough and asked us to all leave.
    Dec. 2003.
While I was working on my computer, I had a visitant. The spirit was an elderly woman, possibly the previous tenant, who died a year ago. Although I could not see or hear her, I sensed her loneliness. I told her I understood that it was a lonely time of year and that she was welcomed here. She caressed my cheek. I felt no apprehension or fear, but instead a feeling of warmth and love. And then she was gone.
I have also had experiences with precognition, clairvoyance, clairaudience and psychometry.
There have been other ghosts, but I'll leave those for another time.
~ Jon in rural BC, Canada

Love the new chat series! I grew up in a house with ghosts. My sisters and I heard them in the room next to ours, after we shut off the lights at night. As soon as we'd step on the floor to go investigate, it would stop. He would always shut our windows during the night, if it started to rain. I woke up once to him leaning over to shut the window right next to my bed. He looked at me and smiled, then slowly shut the window. Then he disappeared. He was an older gentleman with white hair and a kind smile. Years later, after my parents sold the house, the new owners asked my mom if the house had ghosts. Apparently her children were talking about the house having ghosts, as well.

Great video. I'm clairsentient and still blown away with it all. The creepy places like Bodmin Jail don't do anything for me, I notice things more when I least expect it like when I'm driving or when I'm not really concentrating on a particular thing - so then it surprises me as I'm not expecting it. Snowshill Manor in the Cotswolds is a good place for spooks! I see shadow people in my house too, and they are at knee height.

I used to work at a haunted restaurant. After closing, we would put the chairs on the tables to mop. I would sometimes get a call in the middle of the night that the alarm went off. Unlocking the door, I would find some of the tables reset, even with linen! Sometimes the tables would be moved. The police stopped coming. We would get this awful smell in a certain corner. We figured out when that happened, there would be some activity that night. Beer kegs in the locked cooler would be in disarray, canned goods scattered across the pantry, plates smashed away from their stacks...I could go on & on. Many, many managers quit after working a few nights. I also lived in a haunted house, but that is another story!

I have had a few instances where my departed father (he died when I was 16) came to see me and 50 years later my recently departed mother paid me a visit. My father appeared in pastel colors, almost like a hologram (they did not exist in 1968) telling me he was coming to get my brother. I started yelling at him saying he was to leave my brother alone. Soon the image faded. And 50 years later my 98 year old mom visited me a few months after her death and there were sounds and floating images. I was not scared and I spoke to her and felt calm. She did not say much but left me feeling comforted. We even joked. I asked her to make meatballs before she left. No meatballs.

Years ago while in the Lake District on Lake Grasmere, we were with friends who believed they had a poltergeist. They previously told us that weird things would happen in their home associated with water. We were having coffee in the Hotel in the lounge and suddenly a large painting of the lake over the mantel fell off the wall. The hotel staff were very startled as were my husband and me but our friends just said "See!"

I finally got to watching this well worth the time I enjoyed it thoroughly! I have on my last video ,orbs and flickering little light orbs moving about behind me . The reason I started to film, was to see what was going on behind me, as I was on the computer I kept seeing things from the corner of my eye so I put the night vision camera on. To catch what ever it was. I have friends in the Paranormal field and they reviewed it as well. They saw different things in the footage. I wasn't trying to make a video for content but rather just to figure it out. Pretty boring for the most part as I was basically just watching.

I was on a train when a male voice with an American accent said to tell Sandy that he loved her.I racked my brains wondering who Sandy was.My ex sister in law Sandra married an American serviceman who died a few years back.Turned out that he called her Sandy and she was going through a tough patch at that time.
One morning I woke with the words Whitwell Woods in my head.Never heard of them. When I googled it ,it came up as a beauty spot in Derbyshire.I mentioned it to my daughter whose friend sent a news article from the Derbyshire Times. In it there had been a grisly find in a layby near Whitwell Wood.Validation for me.

There's a great book from the 1970s called Haunted East Anglia by Joan Forman which considers timeslips as one theory behind hauntings. It's out of print now but available second hand. It investigates various allegedly paranormal events across small villages and old houses in the region and is written in a very matter-of-fact style, which makes it all the more chilling in my opinion. It was bought for me as a present when I was a child believe it or not, but scared me so much then, I ripped it up and threw it away! I bought it again a couple of years back and find it fascinating as it delves into history and folklore too. The author also published The Mask of Time, which is about timeslips and precognition - not read that one yet, but I think it was highly regarded.

Interesting topic. I once saw something fall from a tower out of the corner of my eye and was screaming as I turned expecting to see a person on the ground, but there was nothing there. My husband just laughed at me.

A few years ago, I went away with my friend to a cottage in Harrogate. On the second night my friend shouted out in her sleep waking me up, a few minutes later I felt someone tugging on my duvet, then bumping along the side of my bed, stopping just to my head. I turned around to laugh at my friend saying she can’t spook me, but she was fast asleep in her bed. I didn’t feel afraid, but felt a small child was in the room. The next morning I told my friend, who has had many ghostly experiences, and she told me she had seen a small boy as soon as we entered the cottage but she hadn’t wanted to say anything to me as she hadn’t wanted to scare me. On first night of our stay, the ghost had kept her away most of the night tapping her bed, but she’d said nothing 👻

Exactly...I think the reason I feel freaked out by noises is the fear of an actual intruder which I find immensely scary. I'm quite happy to stare into the darkness trying to see a spirit, but the thought of an axe wielding maniac on the prowl is far scarier.

I felt an obvious kneeding on my legs ( cat kneeding) I lay there fully conscious, but didn’t want to look because I liked the idea that it was my cat letting me know she was ok. I see ghost dogs and dog walkers many times a year, usually in the same place, but then I walk in the same places over and over again, so that isn’t surprising, I walk in a relatively difficult place for people to get to, and I have been known to wait to say hello to the person, and nobody comes, I have dogs jump out of the bracken across the path, into the undergrowth and then nothing, I have seen hogs running joyously on the path above me, and not seen anyone with them, but then I cannot see dog again. In another location, I have seen twice 2 Alsatian type dogs one is mainly Black and Tan long haired and the other is white, chasing each other around a tree, tongues hanging out, looking like they are having such fun, but as I get nearer, they disappear behind the tree but do not come back around, and there is no sound at all. Your welcome, has anyone else, seen dogs and walker ghosts?

Recently my daughter and 20 year old grandson went to a spiritual summer Faye, they thought they were just going to buy crystals and maybe have an angel reading. They had only been there a couple of minutes when one of the people went up to my grandson and said that as soon as he walked in they knew that he had so many spirits wanting to get through but he blocks them off. She said it’s not a bad thing and reckoned that he was a conduit and could help people to get messages and she could see him on a stage. Why would she tell a young lad this, I feel like they prey on vulnerable people. Although I have to say there were a few weird things that my grandson said when he was two or three. I don’t really believe in all that stuff but now I’m 💩💩 ing myself.

I believe in ghosts. I shared a house with my friend in East Dulwich, I moved in on my own and the first night I woke to feel something at the bedroom door. This happened a couple of times. When she got back I didn't mention it but a few weeks later, we went for a drink and she said that she thought we had company... I then told her my story. I used to feel this ghost as an electric field going through my body which would wake me up and one night (friend away again on tour), she called me late at night and as I came out of my sleep and opened my eyes, I could see this man standing under the central light in the room. He was wearing a uniform! We then got someone in to insulate the loft and he had dreadful trouble up there with things being moved around and old fire grates being placed on top of the loft door so that he could not open it again...! We later found out that a man who had lived in that apartment had been in the RAF and had died there. It was all quite unsettling but in the end we decided to embrace the spirit, made him part of the family, called him Fred, and eventually after about a year, he suddenly left.... All true! x

When my son was a baby, I'd sometimes be woken by a heady floral scent right upon me. Once, we both spent the night in the sitting room, the carry cot next to me as I lay on the couch and once again, the thick fragrance woke me. It would disappear just as suddenly and wasn't subtle...in fact, possibly the kind of concoction Victorians might have used to keep a body preserved during warmer months😟 that's what I wondered, anyway. At other times, the strong scent of tobacco would linger in the bedroom despite none of us smoking.

I've seen the ghost and not in my house I only have poltergeist I was fixing a lady's hair at her house and we were facing the double doors and just past the double doors was the front door to the house I heard the door I looked up and an elderly gentleman walked right past the one open door he had a tweed coat on dark pants a nice looking beard he looked in at us and kept walking so I excused myself because no one else was supposed to be in the house and I searched high and low and never found him and couple of weeks later she was showing me family photos and there he is her husband in the same outfit she said that was the last picture that was taken of him, and she never saw him walk by the door because I asked her at the time I said who was that she goes I don't know I had my eyes closed enjoying me brushing her hair
