I'm a professional makeup artist in real life. This is the best winged eyeliner tutorial I have seen thank you. I would also recommend placing your elbow on a table or counter to steady your hand anchoring with your pinky finger on the cheekbone ESPECIALLY if you have shaky hands.
I also have hooded eyes and I’ve never found a tutorial for winged liner as perfect and easy as you have made it! You are so beautiful and a very talented teacher I find your patience and voice comforting thanks ❤
Thank you! I know for experienced false lash users these tips may be obvious, but for me, these tips are essential!! I’ve never really tried false lashes until the last year or two, but have struggled with their application. These are real-world tips!!
Thank you for this! I too have hooded eyes and have yet to master a wing. I love that you used brown for the shade so it's softer, I will definitely give this a go!

I have accepted it finally not to go mad about not having the real estate for these big thick wings. I am now satisfied wiith kitten wings or no winged eyeliner at all
Thank you! I have recommended that tip a lot in the past for people that have lost a little elasticity to the eyelid but I’ve also noticed that many people tend to distort their eyeliner by stretching the skin. Once they let go of the skin the liner sits differently. So I decided not to mention it in this one.
When I work on clients that wear contacts I usually request that we start makeup without them incase this happens. But I understand you might struggle to see as well without them while applying makeup - so I would suggest getting a magnify mirror for when you’re tight lining! It’ll allow you to be more precise and immediately after you’ve applied it fan your eyes with something to that the liner dries down and doesn’t print onto your contact lens.
The other way is to do the eyeliner is to keep your head and do it normally and then fill in the gap that remains and it looks like a wing, I think they call it diamond-shaped eyeliner 🥰

Kitten wings, love that! Yes, sometimes acceptance is definitely key when hooded eyes don’t permit an extended wing.
I am going to go try this right now, thank u ❤
Hope you enjoyed it!!
I noticed you don't stretch your eye applying your liner. I like that. You have a steady hand.

Thank you for this! I'm a contact lens wearer and whenever I tried tight lining, i ended up getting eyeliner on my contact lens. Any tips?
