Working in the cold is lousy. I don’t mind maintenance, but unless I can work off my heating floor in the garage, and the bedroom carpet I recently took out, and put on the garage floor for now, I’m not into it..hahaha
Spent to much time in my younger years in a collision shop on my knees to often..
It’s pretty simple, but I enjoyed watching you bust your knuckles first…haha.

I feel the same way about the heat as you can tell lol.

I can’t get my splind plate to come off on either side what would you recommend to do to pop them out

They can be a beast for sure, propane torch the plate to expand the metal then screw a nut on to protect the threads. A little non gentle persuasion with a hammer and knock the shaft out the opposite side.

What size of socket to use to press the bearing please

Oh wow, good question. Was something like 1 3/8" but different brands of socket may have thicker wall thicknesses so you'll have to adjust accordingly.

Amazon is one of your cheaper options. RockyMountainATVMC is another good choice. Royal Distributing if you're in Canada is good.

Lousy design with no grease fitting in the shaft.

Almost like they want them to fail.

Oh BTW, don’t open your storage box door and walk away for 12sec while the machine’s running, otherwise you burn a hole in it from the exhaust. I had it out with the manufacturer about the piss poor design, I got know where.
And when you call- you get
“For English Press Two” not one like the rest of the country ?
