Tom Garner does not breed for profit. He continues to breed some of the only true American Pit Bull Terriers in the world. He's preserving the breed. Rescue is fine and dandy, as well as necessary, but so is the preservation of breeds. Especially working breeds like the APBT. Not everyone wants a mixed breed dog of unknown lineage. And that's just something you have to respect. I don't support backyard breeders, but real breeders need to be supported.
He doesn’t breed for profit, yet he produces 300-500 puppies a year and will sell them to ANYONE with $1500-2000 in their pocket lol same for that fraud Chico Lopez. And ask the ADBA if his line is unknown he’s been selling FAKE Frisco dogs for years to the point where the ADBA will not register a dog from Tom Garner. He has bred some bulldogs that will always be talked about I’ll give him that but he’s not that same person anymore he absolutely breeds for profit to people like you who have no clue wtf they doing or talking about.

Didya notice there aren't any Ferraris in the junkyard??? Likewise, the shelters are not filled with dogs from my breeding program! The shelters are filled with dogs from backyard breeders and random litters. Buyers pay good money to own a dog from my program! They don't abandon them or turn them over to animal shelters!

I see alot of your gyps are older I have a older gyp I want to breed at 9yrs old she's healthy but I haven't seen her in heat after a year any ideas on how to get her to come in ? I built my pens like your I just need to get a load of rock brought into them.

You might find a good dog in a shelter, but I dare you to try and find a Garner dog in any shelter across this country and I bet you won't find one. Garner dogs don't end up in shelters. So take that shelter dog stuff somewhere else b/c these dogs don't have anything to do with it.
@CheyBaybee Sweet and gentle dogs make good family dogs. He has so many and keeps up with all his dogs responsibly. I wouldnt have all of them inside my house either. A good hunting dog doesn't have to live in the wild, and a good family dog doesn't have to live inside. :)

Tom - ever hear of Kimmar kennels out of Maryland? Yep. My dog was a grandson of her grand champ, Katmanroo. Google his name and see how many trash kennels claim to have his bloodline in their dogs. Some of the fools out west breeding those big bullies claim to have it. My dog was AKC standard, a perfect 60#, and I trained him with hand signals/foreign language. Good bloodlines make the best dogs. I'll keep an eye out for you.
True, I walk my Amstaff or pitbull not sure what it is but Its got longer legs then Staffies and thinner snout... their this girl that walk her dog in the forest (some kind of german shepperd) and hes always the one growling barking like a bitch when my dog doesnt make a sound.... there many factors on who is the most agggresive like age, training, treatment, but staffies and PB are not the ones starting fights, but if they get agressed they will finish the fight for sure.
The dogs who end up in shelters are mostly from backyard breeders and they sell to people for 150.00 a dog the Professionals are the only ones who should be breeding they keep the breed correct and they command top dollar for their dogs and when people pay top dollar those dogs are less likely to end up abandoned like the ones that people pay 100 for I work with two rescues and have owned Pit Bulls for27 years so trust me when I say its not the pros who are killing this breed its the amateurs
Exactly - you can own a dogo, presa or other big ass dog but a 45-60# well trained terrier is verbotten. I am in the notorious Prince George's county, Maryland and any bully type dog but bull terrier or American bulldog is banned. BSL is like banning guns because people with no regard for the law still has them.

My own pitbull, raised in a home with a family, has his issues and he's never been an outdoor dog ever. I'm not trying to argue here, I'm just saying that no breed pitbull or any other can be guaranteed to be a family dog when its not raised in a family.
All I can hope is all the people coming on youtube to be informed about Pitbulls come across this video. Back 2005 I brought five dogs form you and I can tell you they were 100%bulldogs,I had two off Ch-El-Negro /Young China rose,one double inbred daughter of Ch-Hickory Tee,one off Bolo/Corey Everson and one off Crocodile bred back to his mother Miss Pew.Each one of this dogs I learned something different from,out of all of them them the line I loved the most was the ones off Ch-El-Negro.Tom keep doing what are doing.
Been to bulldog hill. Have a dynomite/ cherry dog from there. I was actually at the old setup but mr garner treated me with respect. Talked to me for at least an hour and in the end I wound up with a top notch bulldog. From about 6 months to about 5 or 6 he was a freak. Hard mouth real bulldog. From my experience I trust the man and are def gonna go back when rampage dies. He is def older but he still gets his work in I just have to reign him in now. Thanks tom garner

If you knew anything about apbts or their history whether you are a fan of dogfights or not you would know that his dogs have tight peds. Frisco is at the top of the ROM list and Chinaman is a legend. These are working dogs and in the city most people have mutts or even worse american bullies. You say he's part of the problem but his work speaks for itself.

We bought a pup off you in the mid 90's and she turned out for us...She was a very game dog too, bred off Frisco and a Snooty bitch...We had bred her several times and got some solid dogs off her and a Champion bitch that was devastating...Caroline was what we called her, what a beautiful and intelligent gyp...She was a class act and loved people...

These dogs are excellent family dogs. That means that this line of dogs from this breed are genetically predisposed to interact favorably with a caretaker and his nuclear family. Why would you imagine that the dogs housing arrangements would alter that reality?

These dogs are excellent family dogs. That means that this line of dogs from this breed are genetically predisposed to interact favorably with a caretaker and his nuclear family. Why would you imagine that the dogs housing arrangements would alter that reality?
