Thanks for including Reverb Galaxy in the mix! Great to be in with all these other great surf bands. Surf can definitely have a "dark aura" quality, but just like the Ocean, it also calms down and gives you beautiful, soothing music. Perfect to sip something cool with a little extra to relax you...

There’s interesting videos of Black Metal played without distortion and it sounds just like Surf Rock.
I used to listen to Metal before I discovered surf music. Now I listen to both surf and metal.

I’ve never surfed, nor snowboarded, not even skateboarded but I have skied, quite well I might add, and I’ll venture a guess that they all use the same muscles and require the same sense of balance, especially the ones done on a single board (not skiing 😊)…
