Minor penalty proceeding under rule 16 CCS(CCA)Rule1965 is conducted against Central Government Employee for imposing Minor departmental penalty prescribed under rule 11 for any misconduct/misbehaviour.For this Minor Penalty chargesheet is served on the employee and after considering representation, any of the prescribed minor penalty May be awarded or inquiry May be set up under rule 14 of CCS(CCA)Rule 1965.

That the pay of Shri SRDamor, SA HRO RMS "AM" Division Ahmedabad-2 reduced by three stages from Rs.31400/- to Rs.28700/-in the pay Matrix level-4 (pre revised corresponding grade pay Rs.2400 in the pay band 5200 to 20200) for a period of five years with effect from 01-08-2017. It is further directed that Shri S.R.Damor SA will not earn increments of pay during the period of reduction and that on the expiry of this period the reduction will not have the effect postponing his future increments of pay.

Sir , when does show cause is served by the department to the the delinquent employee . How it is different from chargesheet ?
Sir In a Situation where some misconduct has happened in training period and Training authority sent the charge sheet to department where the employee has joined after training. There sp asked Representation for the misconduct and after representation his was not satisfied and given a penalty of Holding of increment for 1 year without commutative effect. But the employee gave his resignation in 6 month and thereafter cleared another and joined the same department again but in different circle. But the previous department send a letter to the circle and said that the employee was relieved without completing that punishment and we ask u to give him punishment on behalf of that misconduct. What can be done in this situation?

Sir, i got completed 10 years of service in central govt department in March 2021. But i got minor penalty for withholding of increment for 2 years without commutative effect in Feb 2021. Please guide me ,will I get MACP benefit w.e.f. due date i.e. March 2021?

gud morning sir...i got an one year withholding of increment without postponing future increments and my increment stopped this year...i am having my retirement after 5 months wat should i do?will it effect my retirement benefits and pension or i will get in an arrear after 1 year..?
In your case since the punishment adversely affects your pension, due inquiry as envisaged in major penalty proceedings should be invariably held. Otherwise the proceedings wii be bad in law.
@@prrao1945 sir it's a minor punishment for one year..but i have my retirement after 4 months now....did it will effect my retirement fund or pension ? Or my retirement fund will be credited after punishment as a arrear .?
