    Mulch is usually the best thing to regularly apply, and that atemoya of yours is proof of that. That’s is a gorgeous tree, Sir, good luck and thanks for the inspiration. We don’t have the pollinators here in Hawaii for most atemoya, outside of the Gefner atemoya that isn’t available through any of our local nurseries.

    Great video. Thank you for posting. Im trying to decide between geffner or african pride atemoya. Planning on buying some seeds. I've already sprouted about 15 cherimoyas and one sugar apple which im really excited about. I live in zone 9b in CA where it has dipped down to 32 a few times this winter. In the summer we do get 1-2 weeks of 110 weather. I do have mature shade trees in my yard tho. Can you recommend a variety you think might do Ok in my climate?

      FortMyers FruitForest it was grown from a seed of an African Pride Atemoya. I agree fish fertilizer and liquid seaweed makes a great combo.

    I’m interested to know what kind of fruit it puts out. How did you germinate the seed?

    • @gardenofluma9697
      @gardenofluma9697  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      gossumx yeah I’m excited to see how the fruit turns out. I just wrapped the seeds in a damp paper towel and put them in a ziplock bag similar to my Cherimoya video.

    Atemoya cannot be grown from seeds because they are hybrid of cherimoya
