- We love the Chassahowitzka River, also called The Chaz, in Citrus County, Florida. We camped a few nights at the Chassahowitzka River Campground. They have a kayak and boat launch so we took our paddle boards out to visit the springs. First was Seven Sisters Springs and then down to The Crack Spring. This brought back lots of memories for me. My dad took us there many times when we were kids and rented a boat and we fished that river. Thanks for the reminder . The launch area there is where the little building was where dad rented the boats.

Great video as always yall! Fellow Gheenoe and Runaway owner here and just recently got a paddle board to bring along on camping trips when I have to leave the gheenoe at home (can only tow one thing at a time lol). Great minds think alike!

Great video and trip. Wish the weather had been more cooperative on Sat but the relaxing at camp was nice too. Highly recommend the Chaz to anyone that likes to paddle and hasn’t yet been. Looking forward to going back.

@@carlos7357I have a Sony mirrorless camera. I wanted something that was good for video as well as photo so I went with the A7C and a 20mm 1.8 lens. I also take a lot of photos with my iPhone. Crazy how good phone cameras are these days.
Would you two mind doin an overall walk thru of your Gheenoe, on the water, walking around the boat to show stability, getting up on the piling platform and room and things like that? Would really help in my decision.

i'm surprised you made it through the cave without goggles and eyes open! When i was there i couldn't even put my head in without swimming back up😂

The inflatable boards ride much different. If you like the hard boards stay with them. Plus some parks in florida will not allow inflatables. The inflatable boards float on top of water and get pushed around more by wind.

Sorry for the duplicate question but what size coolers are you using on your inflatable paddleboards? I'm new to the paddleboard activity and so in love with it. Watching you two has me so excited and a little bit more adventurous. Living in Michigan will limit my access to the water but maybe have to include another trip to Florida. Thank you for sharing.

Ms Maggie’s crack. How bad did it smell like sulfur? From what I remember it smelled like a sulfur spring.
We have been there several times and it has never had a smell. It is a beautiful place.

Yes, it is. West Central in Citrus county, Florida.
So how many boards can that do on a charge ?
Not positive. Easily 2 to inflate and deflate, maybe 3.
How’re things progressing with your new house?
It’s slow! Hoping for dry wall this week. Still at least 3-4 months til complete. Thanks for asking!
Just to let y'all know if you paddle to the crack it is polluted with h-pylori which is a serious bacterial that gets in your stomach can cause cancer and is very hard to get rid of as for the seven sisters and the caves you can swim through do you know how many people have died in them caves there is a sign up on the one palm tree by the family has placed to caution everybody don't lose a loved one by swimming through the caves yes it is a very beautiful place and it is very fun to swim up at the head springs but I highly urge you to call some people that there is h-pylori in the water especially its heavy in the crack which is the secluded area that very few people know about so if you want to enjoy a beautiful Chaz River don't swim in the caves do not go into the crack area just walk up to it look take pictures enjoy it but don't go in the water there and yes there is alligators so beware them
