I studied Journalism but I don't think I can delude myself that I am in the same class with Abati who was a Journalism teacher or something but I am totally ashamed of how Abati practices his own Journalism these days.I have said this again and again in the past .Wike does not have the capacity or intellect to teach Abati Journalism according to Abati.I agree.Wike is not a Journalism professor he is a lawyer but that means he has some intellectual capacity he is not a moron. All these big grammar because he expressed an opinion that you people should have engaged in investigative Journalism to have more insight on Atiku and his claim? I have seen him use almost the same expression for an IPOB lawyer during an interview.During an interview recently he had an outburst of anger on live television against someone he was interviewing and told the interviewee that that was his studio and that he was in charge and that the poor fellow had no right to mess with him in his domain (not exactly in these wirds) In my comment I did tell Abati that pride is a bad thing. The problem with Abati is that he feels he knows so much.In his bloated and deluded thinking he is the only most highly educated person in the media.I have seen him again and again lose it on live televisions. In saner climes he will have his ass kicked out of the media or at least get a writeup!I put it to Abati that he should be ashamed that he does not have a media outfit of his own since 1985 when he started Journalism according to him.He still works for people with all his so-called high intelligence and shakes and genuflects to his bosses in Arise TV so as not to lose his job.John Momoh was just an ordinary news caster when he founded Channels Television. That is what smartness means. With all his connections as a media aide to president Goodluck Jonathan and all his education and I-know-it-all attitude he is still an employee but feels so so self important.Abati pride is a bad trait.Work on your temper.Work on your deportment in public.Work on emotion control measure. I still keep cuttings of his articles from when he was a columnist for The Guardian in the 90s. One piece he in 1993 titled 'A Hollow Symbolism' remains a standard for me. I actually think that he writes far better than he speaks. Unfortunately, he has been quite disappointing lately with his tantrums and penchant for joining issues with people who cross him. If Abati cannot manage the emotional diffidence required to operate in the television journalism space, he should go back to print and continue writing. I hate to see such a giant of the industry damaged by avoidable run ins with people who far less intellectually capable.

Loool. I think Reuben is confirming what people have been whispering all along - he is still a strong PDP man - recall he was PDP's Deputy Governorship candidate in Ogun State in 2019. He's clearly Atiku's man; and he sure as hell doesn't like Wike. He says he wasn't defending the Atiku camp but he was doing just that. He gave a lot of air time to articulating Atiku and whipping Wike. And then he craftily suggested to PDP to "lollipop" or "wallop" Wike to end Wike's "tantrums". Knowing PDP's antecedents, they will soon start crafting ways to give Wike the wallop treatment.
Reuben could have been more professional. He actually spent considerable time throwing his own tantrums - reeling out his CV and expending ego punches. I do wish he was this vocal when he was Goodluck Jonathan's special adviser.
