NEW BMW M4 GT3 by Samantha Tan Racing - 590Hp 3.0-Litre Straight-Six Turbo Engine, 12h Mugello 2022

- Finally, I accurately filmed the new BMW M4 GT3, specifically the car that belongs to the Samantha Tan Racing Team and won the 12h Mugello of 2022. This model is the latest addition to the GT3 world, developed based on the original BMW M4 G82. It, therefore, maintains the same engine; it's the 3.0-litre Straight-Six P58 equipped with a twin-turbo capable of developing 590hp. The six-speed Xtrac gearbox with an electro-hydraulic clutch takes care of it. To report the excellent result of the Canadian team ST Racing, who dominated and finished the race after 330 laps thanks to the pilots Samantha Tan/Bryson Morris/Nick Wittmer. Enjoy! 😉
Finalmente ho potuto filmare in modo accurato la nuova BMW M4 GT3, nello specifico la vettura appartiene alla Samantha Tan Racing Team ed ha vinto la 12h Mugello del 2022. Questo modello è l'ultimo arrivato nel mondo delle GT3, sviluppato sulla base della originaria BMW M4 G82. Mantiene quindi lo stesso motore, si tratta del P58 da 3.0-litri sei cilindri in linea dotato di doppio turbo capace di sviluppare 590hp. A muoverlo ci pensa il cambio Xtrac a sei rapporti con frizione elettroidraulica. Da segnalare l'ottimo risultato del team canadese ST Racing che ha dominato e concluso la gara dopo 330 giri grazie ai piloti Samantha Tan/Bryson Morris/Nick Wittmer. Buona visione! 😉

Non amo la versione stradale, quella calandra abnorme proprio non riesco a vederla. Però la vettura da corsa è tutta un'altra cosa (ogni auto da corsa è sempre bellissima 😍) e nel complesso, tutta allargata, bene o male si integra. A livello di meccanica ed elettronica questa nuova M4 sembra proprio un bel salto nel futuro. A bmw conviene vincere ora che può perchè quando arriverà la nuova Ferrari GT3 la vedo durissima per loro...😅

I think not; they are very useful because they constantly inform the position of each car, and I think it's also helpful for opponents who know who they are in front of or behind them. In an endurance race, with so many pit stops, the drivers would otherwise struggle to know the real situation on the track. From the outside, it's advantageous because I can understand who is in the top positions.

They are not disctracting at all, because u have a black backside so as a driver u cant really see them blinking and its so far right

Ja, ich mag diese riesige Niere am Straßenauto nicht, weil sie zu groß und nicht gut proportioniert ist. Aber an diesem Rennwagen, der ganz vergrößert ist, hat es eine viel bessere Proportion 👍

I also have a question - have you seen the Martini livery of the Lambo Aventador? The car is like spaceship, somehow I was not lucky to see it.
I'm happy that you enjoyed the video, and I agree that this new M4 GT3 is a very competitive racing car (plus, it won this race, the 12H of Mugello 2022). No, I haven't seen the Aventador in that livery to answer your question. I guess it's beautiful. Every car in the Martini livery looks great 👍

if the exhuast note was just a little louder I'd put it close to the sound quality of the 911s, amgs, and 5.2 v10s
While it’s not super loud, I saw this new model in person and it sounds really nice at low RPMs accelerating out of the low speed corners
Cool filming! Too bad BMWs are not better road cars. Haven't won premier racing classes in decades, but they DO make the new Toyota Supra, so at least there is that....
But I'm not a fan of the latest Supra, which is a refurbished BMW ... BMW has always built excellent cars even if it's true that it has not shone in international competitions in recent years. However, with this M4, they have a good chance of redeeming themselves 👍

I'm not able to tell you, in making the video, I focused on the car and not on the driver; from the video camera's viewfinder, it's practically impossible to tell who's behind the wheel at that moment.
Non mi piacciono i reni troppo grandi di sta m4 ma per il resto gran motore e gran macchina
Guarda, sono daccordo con te per la vettura stradale che proprio non riesco a farmi piacere. La versione da corsa invece è più proporzionata perchè così tutta allargata, compresi i passaruota, fanno si che la calandra grande visivamente si integri in modo nettamente migliore. Per tutto il resto, ma non ne avevo dubbi, BMW ha creato un'incredibile auto da corsa.
