    So how was the roomette, and how was the ride?

      Hello Mike. Mostly good ride and quiet. Overnight track was a bit rough but I was in the bunk and could feel everything. Nora sleep like a baby on the chairs laid flat into a bed. The roomette was roomy but we also went in aware of the accommodations. Highly recommend. More to come including a recap at the end of the series. Thanks for watching.

      @TheTravelingHoos thanks for the info...that's the only thing holding me back on booking is the rough tracks..first I was gonna book in Chicago then I read so many people saying tracks were extremely rough through Nebraska that it felt like constant turbulence.

      @mikesmothers5610 we flew over to Denver from Louisville Kentucky because the route from Chicago to Denver looks so bland. If you can afford it, fly over to Denver and then take the route from there to San Francisco. Besides the overnight west of Green River, UT to Reno, NV the ride is nice. The scenery is nice until you get to west of Colfax, CA
