depending on what kind of strategic depth you're talking about, in my opinion, the hard part come in managing cards and resource, you need to know when to add card and when to remove card. i sometime ended up with 30+ card deck and i find myself unable to cycle everything, or sometime i have too little card and too much resource for the current state of the game tower placement and what tower you're going for is crucial, alongside where to create a chokepoint. deckbuilding wise its a bit complicated, 10 card maximum in the starting deck and a few card to choose from, you can choose up to 2 faction (Devotion), but most of the card you get would be obtained in game, (IE: Operation center into Coating facility), its usually a case-by case basis as far as my experience goes. you really should plan ahead for each match, or at least have a general, rough idea of what you want to do, otherwise it can be easy to lose at time
you can build deck in this game for multiplayer mode (so far i only tried out battle royale), however in the campaign there's only preselected deck as far as im concerned

Can u actually build a deck in this game or does each faction have set cards?
