The shop is honestly beautiful, it's like a lab in a Cyberpunk (or neo-Soviet) hospital - exposed concrete, unpainted metal furniture, white tiles everywhere, even the view from the windows is industrial and minimalist. Absolutely amazing

Japanese barbershops are really something else, so much unique fashion style and culture/class. I was recently in Japan but I regret the fact I didn't have time to explore some barbershops.

I like the formal look, because it oozes confidence & style, all wrapped into one, & I think that a formal appearance gives a professional look, another great haircut, & not spoiled by electric shears.

Japan provides the best service with the highest level of detail and dedication. Even a McDonald's burger was prepared with the most care that I've seen from any country I've travelled to.

The way the hair looked after the blow dry on the 1st style was good already. After the initial wax w/ a natural hand/manual styling was good too. All the way to the formal finish in the end. Quality from start to finish.
After watching Maeta barber life videos for 3 years and finally managed to make a booking to visit Ryuji-San this year in May, best vibe I have had in my life 🔥 the most hard dedicated barber I have met
its remarkable most barbershops have plenty of objects hanging i usually like these vintage collection types but this one really brings a peaceful vibe with these blank/white walls. it is relaxing and very artistic, i bet it has an impact on people’s mood reducing stress, cheers to that.

I was stationed in Japan for 4.5 years and absolutely loved every second of it. The Japanese are truly masters of the art of giving haircuts, hands down some of the best haircuts and shaves I have ever had in my life. The cheapest Japanese barber could out cut the more expensive barbers in the US.

Precise would be deciding how much to cut off and then cutting it in one cut, instead of doing 20 scissor cuts to achieve the same thing
