- This is the worst way to reject a candidate after calling for interview. I thought it's important to share my experience as none of the TH-cam videos out there talks about it and doesn't prepare you to face the odds. A piece of suggestion has been added in the last half of the video for US Bangla Airlines so that they can filter the candidates easily.

দেখেন, আপু। একেক জনের পরিস্থিতি একেক রকম। আপনি এপ্লাই যেহেতু করেছেন, এপ্লিকেশনের ডেডলাইনটা শেষ হওয়া পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা করতে পারেন।
আপনি আর আমি একই ইউনিভার্সিটির ছাত্র শুনে ভালো লাগলো। টেনশন করবেন না। আত্মবিশ্বাস নিয়ে ইন্টারভিউ এ যাবেন, যদি কল করে। আর না হলে পৃথিবী থেমে থাকবে না। আপনি আপনার মতো চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাবেন।

If you got the confirmation text, then maybe they called you to reconfirm the interview date. It would be better if you tried to call back.

Glad to hear about your educational qualification! If you intend to be a crew, I guess you can do a course on it. There are some agencies/organisations who provide such training. Common people like me go through such odd experiences in most of the cases (which I described in the video.)
And there was no requirement mentioned in the vacancy about the swimming lesson. It may vary for different airlines. But I highly motivated you to learn it, as it's a life saving skill.

I am not really sure about swimming issue. The answer is "Most probably Yes"
But as it's a life saving skill, I guess you should learn it at least for your safety of life.

I am sorry, I do not know the exact answer to your question.
But, I have never seen a cabin crew wearing glasses (on international flights). If they have eyesight problems, MAYBE they wear lenses. I am not so sure about it.

I do not think so. If someone is not qualified, he/she shouldn't be getting the call for interview.
I have no idea about other airlines as I gained experience only from the US Bangla Airlines.
Overweight ki na oita oder measurement onujayi dkhbe…As I went for the interview …they took my height and wrote 5’2…But um 5’4”…In that way my weight will be measured in 5’2 for BMI…thats the reason probably…they still called you

No, you do not need to make any payment for applying. Drop your CV and they will call you without any judgement. No matter how far you live or how suitable you are for the job.

No, the first selection procedure was totally on physical appearance. If someone passes, then maybe he/she have to go through written tests.

I got a call from us Bangla after Watching your video now I'm in doubt 🤢 cause I need to go from Chittagong
People come from different districts to attend the VIVA 😐 Even there was a guy who came from CTG to face the VIVA/Interview Board.
But the decision is yours. Give it a try if you are physically fit and your appearance is presentable enough to meet their requirement...

I am not sure about the swimming part, but it is always good to know how to swim as it's a survival skill too.

এটা অনেক হাই এমাউন্ট এর আর্নিং সোর্স। টেবিলের নিচের লেনদেন হলে আমি খুব অবাক হবো না।
দুঃখজনক ভাবে আমরা বাংলাদেশে বসে আছি যেখানে এই ধরণের হেনস্তার কোনো বিচার নাই। কেউ দেখার নাই।
ইউএস বাংলা এয়ারলাইন্সের এইচ আর এক্সিকিউটিভ পদের জন্য কি কি পরীক্ষা হয়। অফিসিয়াল পদ গুলো নিয়ে একটু বিস্তারিত বলবেন। সেখানে নিয়োগ কিভাবে হয়। আর ইংরেজিতে কি সব প্রশ্ন করে?

5'3" is the minimum for female candidates in US Bangla Airlines. If you have seen shorter people than you joining as cabin crew, then you should do some more research on other Airlines. You can try for Novoair, Biman Bangladesh, if their requirement matches your height.

যেখান থেকেই করেন, কোর্সে এনরোল হওয়ার আগে ভালো মতো যাচাই-বাছাই করে নিবেন। এখন ব্যাঙের ছাতার মতো অনেক ভুয়া কোচিং/কোর্স অনেকে অফার করছে। সেসব যায়গায় টাকা ঢেলে প্রতারিত হবেন না।

BMI Calculator ডাউনলোড করে নেন প্লে-স্টোর থেকে, তারপর সেটা দিয়ে হিসেব করে দেখুন। উচ্চতা এবং বয়স ইনপুট করলে ওজনের হিসাব পেয়ে যাবেন।

I am not sure about it, Bhaiya. But as far as I am concerned, deep knowledge of Mathematics and Physics is a must for pilots. You can still do some research on it.

You can pay to over come the wight issue just pay under the table, they will manage it for you.

The guy did read your application and probably was really pissed for deliberately applying while being overweight. So, he gave you a little lesson.
I respect your point of view.
But the batch I was with, none of them got selected. (FYI, None of them was overweight)

For my case, I received a call from them within a week of applying. I am not pretty sure about the cases of unselected ones, but you can always call them and ask. You will find their contact information on their website.
