Watching a video from your channel for the first time. Excellently presented. Thanks for highlighting other channels that go beyond vinyl to focus on CDs. I will check those out too. Subscribed.
@@SupraWesI would like to recommend a new but not so new band (been a band for 10 years) called the Warning a power Rock trio. So checked them out if you like their concerts are here on YT. I bought three of their records, XXl Century blood, Queen of the murder scene ( a two record concept album) and ERROR their latest. Cheers
Great video. I did my first vinyl tag video this year. Ended 2023 on a Lana Del Rey kick: My last three purchases of the year were Ocean Blvd., Honeymoon and NFR.
New, subscribed, just did my first tag. About 50 videos up so far. It's been so much fun. Addicted to colored vinyl and picture discs. Dont have any Lana Del Rey but she is crush worthy. Amazing artist..
Hey Wes - great response to this year's tag. Great story about Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. I showed a Weyes Blood record in my response (Titanic Rising for She's Great.) That was a nice tribute to Harry Belafonte. Happy New Year Wes!
I'm not sure if I'd just feel old with lots of young people at a party but it's a neat idea rather than lots of old rock stars wittering on about conquests or something. Those early Jon Spencer albums are awesome. HNY Wes.
Nice video, well done. Now for something totally different...the model of the Saturn V rocket , is that the Lego model?, I invested a 5-6 hours stretch building mine.
I've had Thriller in original pressing, reissue and picture disc, and also on CD. Never on cassette, although I imagine that would've been the best-selling format of it at the time of release. - Red
I think I found the copy of Thriller I have in a thrift store in the early 90's, I don't remember owning it before then. I did pick up the 40th anniversary CD last year.
80's was a relatively fallow time for music, notoriously so. Across genres and land masses. Although pop-rock, your focus, did not seem to disintegrate until 1983 in the USA, or UK, you seem less familiar with pop-rock from other time zones.
Great response!!!!! I had a lot of fun with this tag too. Random…I have the same pillows on my couch. Lol!
Thanks for watching, the pillows came with our couch and we have not changed them. LOL

Thank you and welcome aboard!
Well done, Wes. Cool to see you show the 2 Magazine records. Had a feeling you'd show some Charles Bradley and I wasn't disappointed. :)
I still think about my Charles Bradley concert experience often. Thanks for watching, cheers!
Great fun vinyl tag Wes. Always a joy to see you here. Happy new year!
Brad.
Thank you. Happy new year to you as well!

Enjoyed the tag along with all the nice info tied with your picks. Fantastic flip through with the 80s albums.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Good to see some love for Edgar Froese. Well done.
Thank you

Thank you. I still need to add Honeymoon to my collection.

Haha, maybe me too, but I would like to try and party like a young person once again. I'll just need a week to recover now LOL
Nice one watching from the UK....awesome to see some Hip Hop on one of the tags...
Thanks for watching, Hip Hop was my first love when it comes to music.
@SupraWes yeah that why I've not done a vinyl tag I've thousands of vinyl and cds but it's 95% hip hop
Nice video, well done.

Thank you, yes the Saturn V is the Lego model,.
