I love a good empties! I don’t know what’s algorithmically popular nowadays but I’m always down for those. Pretty much anything you put out though I’m down with, I feel like I walk that curly line similarly to how you do. I wash “too often”, I use some heat for blow drying, and our routines are similarly practical and I appreciate what you put out there. Thank you for validating my wrongness!
Yes on makeup and skincare favs please :D My favorite curl cream of 2021 was the Amika Curl Crops. Favorite Shampoo is from Fable and Mane. Eva NYC Therapy Session - fav hair mask (use it as conditioner). I loved the Fable and Mane Holiroots Pre Wash Oil too!

I have dyed my hair before. After I pulled out the hair color it made my hair curlier than it was. After many products I tried coconut oil with castor oil and it made it better than it is but my hair has never returned to normal.
Have you tried doing a cup of water with a little bit of apple cider vinegar in it? I do this after my shampoo or co, and it instantly smooth my hair of course it will be a lot cheaper than your Elive product.
OMG I have recently discovered Fekkai Apple Cider Detox shampoo. So stinkin good. It makes your hair feel so clean w/o being stripped. A little bit goes a long way. Lathers so nice and smells amazing!
I bet DevaCurl fixed whatever issues by now. I kinda feel bad for Lorraine Marry as I believe she had sold the company before the controversy. Anyway, I am going to get that conditioner.
I think they have reformulated but they were under fire a while back b/c lots of girls came forward saying Devacurl products made them lose their hair/damaged their hair. I didn't experience it, thankfully, but I did stop using their products just to be safe.

Not sure on your hair density or if you need a product like this…but my curly/wavy hair is very fine and their texturizing spray is amazing as well!
