About 18 months ago I had a similar incident with my back then 3 year old daughter. I like to make mini meat balls and serve them during a movie of so. Popcorn gets so and so after time. Anyhow I also like to make really spicey ones for myself with ghost peppers instead of the anaheim peppers, just for some kick. At some point I moved to the kitchen to help my gf and left my daughter alone in the livingroom watching the TV. A little later I suddenly hear screaming and crying anf I think what the f*ck?! Fiona and I storm in the livingroom and saw pretty much immediately that Madelyn tried my one of my spicey balls. After we gave her some milk and knew she was alright, I told her to never touch daddy's food again ;-) Madelyn turned out to be quite the fire eater. Looks like I have some real competition cause she eats the jalapeno cheese balls as candy, but the Serrano cheese balls take some effort...
I have always added Jalapeño or Poblano to mine, but I have to try it cooked with Bacon fat. Those looked delicious. I add corn starch to my flour/corn meal to guarantee crunchy goodness.
If you want to take the bite out of a jalapeño here's a trick, soak sliced jalapeños in lemon lime soda 15 minutes, still hot, 30 minutes warm, 45 minutes pretty cool depending on the jalapeño. And the taste of the soda after soaking is interesting, the heat gets hotter the longer the soak.
@@NaeNaeW I like the flavor of jalapeños and I like some heat, but I don't like to punish my mouth. I experimented with the times. Not a law by any means but a guideline.
@@steves3760 ok thanks. I don't mind them hot but my husband and kids can't take much heat so I haven't been cooking with them, just cutting them up for myself. I'll definitely give your method a try. 👍
Those look amazing, and also those would be good to if you also wanna do the buffalo chicken fritters you do also. Great video y'all. Keep up the amazing videos. Hope all is well with yall
Binge watching videos from before I found the best cooking duo ever! Love the recipe and it was fantastic to eat, but the flute music in the background, make it stop!
These episodes are solid gold!!! Nate, your show needs some peanut gallery bro. Nate…. Bro…. @ 8:08….. You are making those stirring the macaroni noises.
Loved it and gonna make them this weekend but...what was that annoying sound track in the background? Sounded like a broken record of the same sick 6 notes over and over again!! LoL “Happy Notes!”
Tried these tonight, not my cup of tea, a few of the fam said they were ok, but would pass if I asked if they wanted some, we can’t do spicy so we substituted peppers for onions, other than that, for us it was a meh.
Fritters are on the menu tonight!
I never knew a finer fritter fabricator. For real.
I see what you did there lol
Love the alliteration!
Looks awesome!!! but gotta have some onions (green) in there, some hot sauce in the dip! Gonna try it!! You guys are awesome!!
Thanks, I made them and my family loved them. I added the Blackstone Taco and Fajita seasoning.
Sounds great!
This was a Super Bowl party hit, thanks!
That's great to hear! Thanks for watching!
They look good, I'm definitely going to have to try them. Thanks
Hope you enjoy! Let us know how it goes!

What temperature are you using to cook the fritters?
I bought my Blackstone about 3 months ago. I've burned through all the classics and this is next on my list to try!
I just wanna know what's in those cups Nathaniel?
Definitely only water.😅
These look amazing!! Passable, so what your saying is they are a good finger food.
I was scratching my head a passable, portable is better.
Lol agreed
Looks very good. Love your son’s reaction. Great job on the Walk of Shame also. Awesome sad face CJ!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! He definitely thought it was too spicy!
Ha!! Thanks brother
Something I never considered making, thanks for putting that on the radar.
The moment I heard you guys talking about the kids I knew one of them was going to be in for a spicy bite.
Awesome stuff!
Lol oops. Total accident on that one haha

Love corn fritters!!!

Where can I find a knife like your using? I’ve looked on Blackstone website (accessories) but don’t see it. Any suggestions?
It is a custom made one!! His friend made it for him!
Good to see you, Have a great weekend....#1
Thanks for the visit! Hope you have a great weekend!!!
Looks delicious. Love bacon and corn on the blackstone bet this is even better.Could you use frozen corn, or not?
This was a Super Bowl part hit, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Nate even though CJ says they aren't passable you can pass a few over here! :-)
If we could we would Bryan.
Nice
Gary! No story from you this time!?
The jalapenos i grew this year were super ho, even taking out the pith and seeds!!! 🌶🌶
Well i hope you like hot stuff then! 😂

HI. IF YOU ADD CAN CORN HOW MUCH WOULD YOU ADD IN CUPS. ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO.
What kind of knife is that when you cut the corn
Nice! Going to try tonight as a side to The Mrs' Chili! I'll post and tag on Insta if I remember!
Have to make this! Minus the WALK OF SHAME! ☹️. Lol
Walk of shame indeed.
Todd,u have created a masterpiece they look delicious
10:14 Bob "We don't make mistakes we have happy accidents "☠️
Will be doing this. i love your knife, but you need to sharpen it, lol.
They look great!
Does anyone know, what kind of knife Chef is using??
It is a custom made knife from his friend!
Those look amazing, and also those would be good to if you also wanna do the buffalo chicken fritters you do also. Great video y'all. Keep up the amazing videos. Hope all is well with yall
Great idea!
That fancy knife needs to be sharpened lol. These look super good.

Thank you! Cheers!

Yum!

Nate…. Bro…. @ 8:08….. You are making those stirring the macaroni noises.
Round-ish is that like an oval
"Passable? Like gastronomy?"
🤣
just made these... the fritter itself could use some salt, pepper and sugar.
Couldn’t find the recipe on the site. I’ll have to scrub through the video again and figure it out.
It will be up soon!
Blackstone Griddles I cooked them today! They were great.
Wow
Yum yum
Oh 🤤
Poor little boy...looked like he thought about crying. Your mean giving him spicy things
Loved it and gonna make them this weekend but...what was that annoying sound track in the background? Sounded like a broken record of the same sick 6 notes over and over again!! LoL “Happy Notes!”
Shhhh 🤫 haha! Tying to make it fun.
Enough with peppers! It's all people seem to season with...
What a lack of imagination.
would be MUCH better if it had NO talking!!!
In the UK, ‘passable’ means edible but nothing special.
Stop disrespecting BOB ROSS!!!
Aw, poor kid 😢
I truly don't understand why most the "chefs" on Blackstone are so goofy.
What a shameful walk.
Utter garbage! 😂
No nobody but BRUCE can cook and tame the Blackstone , find another profession cj, this ain't it

Oh. man! Sorry they didn't work out great for you! Thank you for trying them though!!
All we want to do us learn how to make the recipe and we are subjected to unnecessary 8 year old blathering and dribble. PLEASE turn it off.
Who hurt you?
Marc lol
Just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling...or 🤐
Sadly. I don’t think it’ll be turned off. But just think, a year from now it could possibly be a 9 year old blathering and dribble.
😂😂😂
