When I first watched the making of meteora I played that short clip over and over. I thought it sounded so good. Does anyone know if this song is out there somewhere? Or even the name of this unreleased track?

could be true but to me it sounds more like the first song tat mike and Chester wrote after Chester joined the band its super epic a bit like the queen of the damned material. The song is on the LP underground 6 CD......i cant recall the title right now but i will look for it. This raw energy of the early LP recordings are unmatched by anybody so far. The Contortionist and Erra even thow their style is different have some of this raw energy. I just saw Erra on the Alien tour in SF this august........it was the first concert that deeply moved me like the early LP tracks.....especially the/7 minute epic dementia, rebith, or ghost of nothing which like LP brought tears to my eyes

Since i am getting started with my own recording studio in the SF BayArea...lcan you share any main components besides the vintage neve console ant the live room at NRG that you used to create this so atmospheric track. Did you use special reverb units like lexicon or the old ams neve. I was thinking of buying the apollo 8x mic preamp with the neve 31102 preamp emulation circuitry and trying out several reverb and modulated reverb units.......is that the right way to recreate the Meteora sound......of course mixing/mastering on a SSL 4000 or similar console ? Can you tell me if my approach is right or not.....i would greatly appreciate it.....greetings 🎶🎹🎼🥁

@Yuua Fuda Maybe if the demo was release for 10 year anniversary (2027). it also features unreleased songs in it.
It says unreleased Meteora demo so it's not from Minutes to Midnight. So maybe it will be released in 2023.

Hi. Something more like an ssl 9000 k for mixing. For the mastering, it's totally another game. It was made by Brian Gardner on his custom console.
