I forget about a lot of dishes until I see you do them, this is one of them and I quite like minestrone. I'll give the pearl barley a go, and since my runner beans are producing about a kilo a day, I'll use some of them in this soup. I think I will have to use half the amounts that you used as my freezer is almost full.

Ah now Christopher you seem to have the same problem as us then. We need to do a week or two of only eating out of the freezer x
