Aww, I must say your Twitch chat is very wholesome. They always say hello to us at the start of the video. Hi Twitch! I enjoyed watching the recaps of both the games. They were amazing! Great tactics in both the games, especially, the Bxf7 to win the pawn in Game 1 and the discovered attack to win the queen in Game 2. Congrats! :D
The only thing better than the games is your analysis of the games. Very clear and instructive. Had to laugh at Daniel pleading for you to move to another table. He must have known before he started that his goose was cooked.
@@hannahsayce1I did ^^ Really fun to learn from these games ^^ Because Tournament recaps are always so fun to watch and hear the thoughts from the player
I coulda sworn I left a comment already, guess i imagined it. Here's a new comment to boost the algorithm, 😊 since i can't remember what I said earlier if I said anything earlier. Also it was a great video and very fun to hang out during the Livestreams.
Nice clean win in the first game. Highly enjoyable and I always love the motif of the temporary sacrifice on f7 that disrupts the opponents king and wins a pawn into the bargain. It's an old wheeze but a great one. The second is the sort of thing that puts me off the Open Sicilian as White, who admittedly pottered around way too much here. Too much theory to learn and the reward for doing so is often an equal but unbalanced position whereas the penalty for going in unprepared can be horrible. That said, time is of the essence in these games and playing a nothing move like a3 that also weakens your position is just bonkers so Black ended up getting exactly what he deserved. FWIW, I think that White may have played Rc1 because he didn't fancy a4 as a square for his knight if Black pushed the pawn to b4 - over-defending c2 was just a bonus. Still, he was simply too slow in any case, as those scary-looking pawn pushes on the K-side never even got started. I had to chortle a bit at the ACF ratings list, where Hannah's rating has the "!" annotation (meaning that the rating is to be considered reliable) in a ratings period where she added nearly 140 points and was halfway up the top improvers list. Something seems funky about that ...
it’s pretty common that players will just make an error out of the opening! my opponent played well from that point but the opening mistake unfortunately cost him the game in the first round.
I would like to emphasize the beautiful tactic that she shows where a bishop sacrifice allows for intergalactic missile inspired from original content source material accredited internet source of strategies allow for a great emphasis in term of cultural reference in term of how missile shows the depth of though process toward the beautiful queen captures to see the smile that was brought upon her face. Hey Hannah, concratulation for these nice games. I think you are playing way better than your fide rating suggests.
thanks for the chess recap! This is good content - perhaps join the library games in Melbourne and share those as well for instruction
That's a great idea!

That's a funny anecdote with Maurice Ashley. Why do I think, that it's so easy to imagine Mr. Ashley with some beverage advertisement? 😂

Clean games!
I watched again and now I see how your trying to play chess and why it is the way it is for both sides❤😊
I can ask you one question? Do you have a master fide trainer for preparing you? Or you only study ches for yourself? You play very well!
Alright second game looks normal❤😊
