Wrecker becomes so savage when he’s not his normal childish self.
Omega basically called Rex old because he’s a Gen 1 (one of the 200,000 units on the first battle of Geonosis)
Yeah the lines on his face are nothing special about gen 1, just a symptom of getting old.
Pretty sure its not confirmed that he fought in 1st battle of geonosis

REX is portrayed as the "Character of Legend" in this episode. When we first see him, its like when Frodo see's Strider/Aragorn for the first time in Fellowship of the Ring. And when he leaves, its like he is walking off into the Mist, into his own Mythos, like King Arthur going to Avalon.
the water monster reminds me of the one from LOTR too...
Yeah, perfect imagery at the end where he just disappears into the mist. Its as if to say that he's a ghost, KIA like the Empire believes.
The moment Omega was studying Rex’s face was so wholesome. The way he looks around all uncomfortable. Also love the fact Omega and Rex are both blondes!
I don't think Rex is naturally blond like Omega but with bleached hair (since his eyebrows are still black or dark brown)

@@Alyska Just in case you were wondering what the creature was, it is called a Dionaga and is the same type of creature Luke Skywalker and the rest encountered in the Trash compactor. Dionagas tend to inhabit fetid or swampy waters where they will grab wildlife from the shore when they try to take a drink or if they try to swim across, also they tend to grow to a size comparable to their home
Bracca is from Jedi Fallen Order. Is where Cal Kestis lives

Bracca was where Cal kestis was on in the beginning of Jedi fallen order. He was part of the scrapper guild. The uniforms those guys were wearing are similar to Cal’s outfit in the beginning

Also, the ending might be a good thing. If Crosshair comes to bracca with the empire, they might be able to knock him out and remove his chip aswell.
That creature is probably the same type that dragged Luke under the water in A New Hope.
I was so happy to finally see Rex in this episode, and I really thought that Cal Kestis would make a cameo since they had to go to Bracca in order to remove the Bad Batch's inhibitor chips.

If I’m not mistaken Rex was also the first of clones to be picked by jango fett and the other Mandalorians to be personally trained by them for clone special forces
I'm now completely sure that Omega is force sensitive, she sometimes knows things that only a force user could sense.
The Bad Batch either don;t realize or don't care that Omega is clearly an unaltered clone, which is why she is a child. The first was Alpha, we know Alpha by his name... Boba Fett.

We don't know for certain yet, but I think Omega's growth rate hasn't been altered. If that is true then she is only a couple years younger than Boba Fett. And funny enough roughly the same age as the others. (CRAZY) What's exciting is the possibility that she could be in The Book of Boba Fett if that is indeed the case. On another note, if she is in fact a Jango Fett clone then that would sort of make her Boba's sister.
Terrifying thought for Alyska: Beast mode Wrecker if something happens to Omega

Since Rex re-appeared here I thought I would take this opportunity to mention that Dave Filoni kind of confirmed they retconned Return of the Jedi and one of the images of Han Solo with the Rebels on Endor has an image of Rex in the group. I am not going to share the image or the link of it as you should continue your Star Wars journey with the new content Disney is releasing in the live-action and with the Animated Rebels series. You will not be disappointed. Then perhaps you will see Return of the Jedi again and find Rex in his brief cameo. (They did not make new scenes, just one of the actors in the original movie just happens to look oddly familiar and story-wise it fit as you can tell from this episode Rex is a part of the Rebellion now).
Now that the Bad batch got the chips out of there heads is possible hope to save Crosshair? Idk
I don't know if it's just me, but I kind of want to see a strained relationship between Omega and Wrecker for a little while because of this episode. Maybe have her go back with Hunter for a while just to see how it would affect the team dynamic. Then have Omega and Wrecker reconcile and become closer, with Wrecker staying the comedic relief, but being more serious when he's around Omega. I think it would be good for Wrecker's character to make him have to work to rebuild the trust with Omega, something I think he'd have to struggle with, but would end up being a good thing for him.
