RTPT High can also free up some performance to add LoD and Texture mods for the same performance while also not having any PT noise. Basically just a different allocation of resources.
Looking at the mod description it seems compatible with the FSR 3 mod for RTX30 cards. Might just be able to get away with 4K DLSS Balanced optimized PT + FG on 3080/3090 with a couple of tweaked settings. Kinda cool
I have 3080/12. Using DF optimized settings, 1440p and balanced DLSS. Path tracing enabled. In main game I get anywhere between 40-60 FPS. Mostly above 50. DLC is more taxing so I usually switch to RT in Dogtown. But yeah, if you go PT, there is no going back.

@vampiszon6620 I thought the rendering of the effects that use RT are now using PT and that's it. What I mean by fully path traced is instead any rasterisation happening at all, everything is rendered via PT in real time.

For example when using PT20 medium quality my real fps would be ~55 but with FG on, real fps would be around 40s or less. Wonder if you encountered the same thing.

I've got almost the exact same setup as this guy: i7 10700k / rtx 4080; would dropping LOD to medium help with performance degradation? Basically 10 minutes into the game my 90 fps falls to about 70
@Phenomenon79 what are your lows in PL? Around the Barghest encampment in front of the Black Sapphire especially, zooming through there causes really bad performance spikes for me. The market area outside of Tom's Diner is also very cpu intensive, although not quite as bad as the Barghest encampment.
Going to try this later on my RX 7600, I can do vanilla PT at 60fps but only if I use FSR 3 frame gen and FSR 2 ultra performance which at 1080p does not look good so I'm hoping this mod gives me the headroom to push to at least XeSS performance
Original PT preset is simply unplayable on anything except 4090, unless you are willing to use DLSS Performance at 1440p or even lower. But since DLSS Performance looks like an oil painting in this game, this mod is the only option to play Cyberpunk with PT at reasonable resolution and get 60+ fps. 5.0.1 version is the most stable for the moment. I am using 5.1.2 and it looks and performs fine. There are some rare visual bugs (like blinking lights), but nothing major. I'll look into it.
I tried it on 1080p. I get 60+ FPS with PT20 Fast preset. (FG3 mod used)
I don't know if I won silicone lottery, but I get ~70fps in night city at everything ultra with path-tracing on and dlss set to quality with frame generation at 4k, no mod.
Currently playing the vanilla game at 4K everything maxed out with Path Tracing and DLSS Performance, I'm getting 30-35fps on RTX 3080. I play at locked 4K/30fps and it looks amazing
12gb card version? I have the 10gb card with DLSS performance, resolution 1.78x up from 1440p, PT on and settings are mixed of high ultra and medium, but I get 32-41 fps.
I don’t get how you’re at 4K and don’t get bigger drops during combat
the dev is to lazy tio make fake lighting etc, this ray tracing shiet it's cool but shitty performance
Does it work with gtx gpus?
this is HUG !
I really am hoping that the RTX 5070 will demolish this game lol
MSRP $9001 USD
Гуд.
Bro my card is older than yours and incredibly outperforms this to the point to where this mod is useless get a new pc lmaooooooo
Shut up and take my money
It looks worse than original pathtracing.
Buys $1200 gpu just to play sub 60fps with heavy amounts of upscaling.
Path tracing is a joke.
What do you recommend
