@@Wonzie9 And that is fine as well :D I like the options we get. I use the old way to open my maker pen, even though I can flip it up and see. I like to have the screens in front of me to edit and stuff as I move around.
To simplify the pivot placing, you can use a vector component and put it in the head of the object and clamp the vector component to the body of the clamp and the tip of the clamp to the object that follows. This means instead of moving the monster, you're moving the vector component clamped to the object so it seems like the object is moving.
@@theRCLman You would do this if you're using cardboard cutouts instead of maker pen objects

Also to make the pivot point in the face of the monster, you just have to select the head and select "Center Pivot Point to Selection" in "Options".

instead of splitting up the vector for looking you can use the lurp chip and the progress is the speed

ok, Imma try to word it as best as I can.
so, what I want to happen is you grab a quantity of items, and put them in a certain place. if you place all instances of the objects in the intended area, an event will happen. in my case, the power in a building turning on after putting 5 fuses in a breaker box. but I don't know how.
ok so you need a trigger volume configured to only detect object with a certain tag. then you need circuits to count the number of object currently in the zone (using the list outputs on the bottom of the trigger zone board)

i don't think rr objects can interact with interaction volumes only players, however you can use a trigger volume and have it detect the tag of your monster so when it enters they go off

my best guess is to put a plate and a trigger volume inside it, if plate gets destroyed(0 items with plate tag in zone) then play animation

Use a clamp and attach the gold pin to the trigger volume and the black part to the cube, it should follow along with the cube, then you can adjust the volume so its on the front
Dude you’re a huge help. Do you have any idea how to make something stay up at a certain heights while following? So for instance if I wanted a ufo to follow me.
So have it follow you but split the vector and make the middle one, i think its y stay constant

@@theRCLmanso I retried this video and I got something to follow the way I want. The problem now is that if i connect it to a clamp or rotation gizmo so I can attach an animation gizmo, it won’t move anymore.
So basically I have a little box that by itself will follow, but won’t do anything after it’s connected to anything else.

Ohhh thats a hard one, will probably have to put in a delay chip after the number switch, hook up the after delay to switch the speed number back to normal after a certain amount of seconds

what ever the trigger is hook that up to a set position of the monster then after a delay do another set position of monster somewhere else

there is an unequip object chip i think thats what its called so when they enter unequip the set postiion of object

yes my best guess it to use a RA 1Hz chip (free on invention store) hooked to an if, when peron enters zone bool becomes true then after the if use and int variable going and an add to make it go up 1 each time, then after that hook onother if and an greater or equals, if it is then add role and turn bool false again, idk if that comes across clearly on text though

There is a chip that i never knew about and it is the "Reroute"
Exemple:

So the reroute will be wired to the string of the two roles chip and you can write the name of the role and it will appear on the two roles chip (sorry for the long explication)

i'm not confident on leader board stuff, but for the adding on, when specific player enters zone, send execution to a int variable with an add chip on it, i think then send it to a leaderboard chip

Hello I am trying to recreate this and I can see the pivot point but I can’t move the monster to line it up with its face. Help
check on the right side of the tools under general there should be a setting to show pivot it it is on and you don't see it that means your pivot point is there but just far away. hit edit and select 1 shape the hit the little menu that pops up and hit center pivot

The pivot point is staying in one position when I move the character it it moves with the character so I can't put the pivot and its head
Ahhh you must esit the character model, hit esit on maker pen click on monster model, select all parts of monster, then move them around

the only way i know to do this is to make the monster physical but then you must add some antigravity to it aswell

If you make it physical it now has to worry about gravity so you have to add up velocity to it

you can do it but it will require significantly more circuits, i will continue this series and get there eventually

Set the monster to physical and it will collide with walls but other problems occur also
so don’t know why we have to add the vector chunk to the monsters position
if you don't add and you just add the full vector it will instantly teleport to player, although now there may be other chips

Yes you could have some trigger or button the player hits and use a seperate set transport and feed it a position vector where you want it to be
It doesnt work when i everything else connects but when i try to connect the event receiver it makes the error sound what could be Wrong
on your maker pen check the logging screen it should tell you what error you are getting and if you click on the error it should show you the chip thats giving the errror
