"When it rains catch as much water as you can, because there's gonna be a drought" I love this. Jim Rohn said something similar in his seasons of life speech. I've started posting videos a week ago to help other men on their journey and already got over 100 subs! Thank you to Frisella, Peterson, Bedros, Rohn and more recently yourself Ed for helping me on my journey! 🚀 Let's go!!! 🤜🤛
PHENOMENAL as always. Ed is SUCH a great interviewer. I found Ed a few months back and can't get enough. It was great to get to know Mauricio. A stand up guy. Ed, your questions always entail humanity and I really appreciate that about you. Thank YOU for always wanting to serve/help all of us.
Oh my word! This episode was so inspiring! I have always been a fan of Mauricio ( watched The Housewives )! Yet I never knew how freakin successful he is! Huge respect now and definitely buying the book! Ed you have the ability to bring people into our homes; and every time it feels as if you’re talking directly to me right here in Singapore in my kitchen! I absolutely love love love all your episodes! Thank you so much for sharing great people with everyone! You guys rocked today!
"Be in the right place at the right time, and have the right people know you and maybe even be extended family, and then follow super basic business principles and you can do it too." .....ok... thanks.... very relatable, applicable, and therefore inspirational....
It really hit home with me about the quick comment about friends and friendships. As I have progressed in my life it has been heartbreaking to move on from some very long term friendships that went back many years. However, we grew into different people and those friendships started serving me less and less. In fact upon analysis most of them were not that healthy at all. The difficult part is the expectation to remain friends because of the childhood connection and length of time. However as I moved on I noticed that I was attracting more like minded people and the quality of the people I was attracting went way up. I think sometimes people don't even realize the types of friends they actually want in their lives. They know the type of car they want, or the type of house they want, but they have no idea what type of friends they want. It's interesting. Here's a few things I have learned about friendship over the past couple of years (I'm 37 for the record) 1. True friendship takes work and nurturing. Think about it like a garden. You need sun, water, and good soil. And yes every now and then you may need to pull some weeds out. But the more care you put in, the more beautiful the garden will become. 2. It's a two way street. If you want great friends, think about how you can be a great friend. When you think about the perfect friend, are you like that person? In other words, if you want a friend to be loyal, are you loyal? I think sometimes it's easy for us to expect things that we ourselves are unable to offer. 3. You will likely be able to count your closest friends on one hand in your life. You may have 12,000 friends on Facebook but who will pick up the phone when you call at 3am during an emergency? 4. Friends will come and go in your life and change with the seasons of life. For example, if you were a party animal and decide to move on from that lifestyle, you may find your party animal friends no longer call you. And that's okay. Just keep making quality decisions in your life. Your true friends will come with you. 5. Don't be afraid to befriend someone who is nothing like you. You might be surprised what you may learn. 6. Have friends of different age groups. This will also teach you many things about others and yourself. My oldest friend is 95, his name is Ed, and I met him lifting weights at the gym. Not too many people lift weights at 95 so I just had to talk to him. We are now friends. This was long I know but I think many people struggle understanding this common subject. Hopefully this added value to somebody. God bless.
So much great insight in this interview! I loved watching two friends share their perspectives together! Thank you for introducing us to your friend, Mo. Since I don’t watch TV, I wouldn’t have known about him and his book Ed. Thank you!🙏🏻

Good info. For me my hesitation on getting started is the fear of being homeless. Not having money coming in to pay bills or even afford rent.
