Thank you for the vid! I have a question. How do I get to the core file you mention towards the end of the video? I am not seeing it in the description. I definitely would like to get it if it will make online play better! Thanks!
A few questions. I've been playing nr2003 for a couple years now, but I finally got my friend to try it out. I know that series and track mods would of course be needed, but does having different spotter and engine sounds cause any issues? I have the JJ spotter and the Petty V8 engine sound that was recently posted on the subreddit. I would expect spotters not to cause any issues, but I would assume that having a different engine sound would make me silent on his end. Thanks for the tutorial btw.
Hello. Is there any mod that without help drives like iRacing in the years 2013-2018? Because I know that in NR2003 if you release the accelerator to brake, the car becomes loose. Thank you.
We are having a huge issue with the ai online. They are too aggressive. Is it just us, or is there something I can change in the iNi, core files? It’s so frustrating not sure what’s happening
so when my friend trys to join, the connection status reads: Opening channel. Opening network device. Timed out opening communications channel. Closing network device. Closing channel.
Make sure the router kept the changes for the port forwarding. Make sure whoever you are playing with has your public ip correct and lastly make sure you all have the same .ini mentioned in the video
I was just thinking about this last week. Read my mind. Great tutorial as always. Is there a way to fake your ip? I’ve seen other articles from long ago that used a software to create a unique ip that probably went through some other server, which I would imagine would introduce more lag. I would assume this process is far better in the long run.

@@TheBenCrazy i fixed it myself, everything about the portforward and ip stuff was correct and didnt need to change a thing. You're underrated bro
he really is
Hi bfm
I'm gonna trust this video because you endorse it
You are definitely making nr2003 great again! Thanks for the upload!
Subbed to you brotha. Great vids. I have Iracing but nr2003 is a fun game to get away from the idiots on Iracing.
Been trying to play with a friend through virtual lan hopefully this solves my problem
This is great cause i want to start a whelen modified league
i have done everything i even checked firewall and made sure that the Ports can connect but nothing
do you need to have an actual copy of nr2003 or can you just use a cracked one?
Hey, my brother and I tried this and weren't able to get it to work.
hey ben you can make a video about make racing severs for NR2003?

could i use any mod i want on top of this? or will this multiplayer mode only work with a vanilla version of nr2003
It works with any mod. Just know that everyone else playing will need the same mods
at moment you find a league where you can entry the name of the league in nr2003

Hey Ben! My the ai seems very glitchy and twitchy in online for me. Is it my internet or just since the game is so old
Most likely both. Other than using the updated core.ini, I don't know of a fix
Hello.
Is there any mod that without help drives like iRacing in the years 2013-2018?
Because I know that in NR2003 if you release the accelerator to brake, the car becomes loose. Thank you.
Can someone please tell me if there is a working link that I can download camera control master master for nr2003 at?
Anyone know what to maker the external and internal host ip?
So little issue my internet dosent show up on the list of routers
We are having a huge issue with the ai online. They are too aggressive. Is it just us, or is there something I can change in the iNi, core files? It’s so frustrating not sure what’s happening
Has anyone done this using Xfinity xFi? I’m not sure if I need to make a port number or a port range.
In this case select port range and enter in 32766-32809
Ok I did and do I put anything for a port number, it shows the port range but also shows a port number above which is 1 at the moment.
Hi, where can my friend and I find the needed core ini file?
It's not needed but I did forget to add it in the description. Will fix it tonight

Anyone wanna get a league started?
bettt
my freinds just says connection timed out. whys this?
This sounds like a chore to complete and maybe even risky. But i want to race this again online. It’s been so long. Any online leagues?
iracing without the subscription! I think I still have the original cd, but where to find a cdrom?
I recommend using his tutorial and downloading the game for free without using a cd/rom drive. There’s a no cd patch to allow you to run it
Idk what you mean. If you have the disc why would you need another one?
@@Z64sports Not where to find another disc, where to find a cdrom reader for my computer.
Forget the CD, just download it off TheBenCrazy's other tutorial video, it has patches needed for it to function on modern Windows versions

What if my router doesn't appear on portforward?
so when i press multiplayer it always crashes and idk whats causing it
Do you use any virtual machines? Seeing that uninstalling vmware for some reason can fix the issue. Also if you have 4gb of ram, it could be that
what if we dont have a router? I dont have one
Thanks Ben!
what if my brand doesnt show up?
It Didn't Work On Mobile Hotspots?
Can you only play on controller ?

do you have any idea how to fix this?
Double check that you port forwarded correctly and that you gave him the correct ip address
@@TheBenCrazy ok. I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks!
Does the port forwarding get through the ISP modem? My ISP assigns a local IP address before it gets to my modem. I found out by tracking my ping.

Does it work fine in single player or just in multiplayer?
@@TheBenCrazy works fine in single player
That's weird. I have not run into this before. Try running in admin mode or compatibility mode for windows 7. Otherwise might be best to reinstall

The router is the device that gives you WiFi

You have to use a service like hamachi or Radmin to create a virtual lan
You can use a VPN, there are ones made for games as to not reduce lag.
i have a question how i can join a league ?
The best places to find leagues would be on forums and the /nr2003 subreddit
