My parents were very disciplined, and I became an adult when I was little, hoping to go abroad. Now, whenever I go back to Japan from work, I am relieved. I'm glad I was born in Japan.

I set my mobile phone weather application to show me kyoto´s data so I know what time is it, if it´s raining or not. What does that place have to stir such feelings? Even though I have only been to Kyoto once, a long time ago, I cannot get over the artistry and beauty of the gardens which so many unknown (?) people created over the centuries. Is there a record of these artisans, as well what was as their inspiration behind a particular design? A time line for the garden would also be interesting. We in the 21st century need to sit back and feel the beauty around us....especially in Kyoto. My local council is about to have a Japanese garden created in one our local parks as part of a sister city program :)!
Ian Robinson The city of Kyoto, is actually a replica of Tang Dynasty imperial palace in ancient China. Kyoto is said to be an well preserved shell of Tang dynasty palace. On TH-cam, look up this video called “Daming palace” by a BronzeGoblet user account. Enjoy the 3 hour history documentary.
Ian Robinson ancient Japan had adopted a lot of wonderful Chinese things from architecture, bonsai plants, food, script, and fashion. The kimono for example is a preserved yet evolved form of the Tang and Song dynasties women attire, from ancient China.
I love this video, I remember sitting and trying to count the rocks , and there is one that somehow can't be seen. I have also seen the Golden Temple and the Silver Temple. They can be found in one of my first videos. The only thing left to do is 5 * * * * *
