Curious to know the economics of small fruit vs big fruit. We keep cattle and funny thing about our market is that smaller cattle are discounted, but when you do the sums you can raise many more small cows on the same amount of land. In the end the profit is better on smaller animals. Is it the same for durian?
When we sell them if under 2 kg the price goes down and if over 5.5 price goes down . All A And B grades must be from 2 to 5.5 kg . With durian if we keep less fruit on the tree the fruit gets too big if we keep too much it gets too small . We have to find that balance. With the tree in the id it had too many but we wanted that. The buyers like to sell the smaller fruit it's more affordable for our local market .
Very beautiful tree…. Keep it going !!!
Thanks brother 👍
its cool watching them cut those durians. Id love to grow durian trees one day. those are some mini 'pocket' durians. how do those taste and cut?
It tastes real good and is easy to cut . I did a short on me opening one
When are we going to see you up in those trees? 😂
