Building a Chameleon out of E-Waste

I'm building a chameleon out of scrap metal and recycled electronics, and today in the studio we are making some more progress on the body. I welded up some more parts and have a much better idea of where to go from here! Let me know what you guys think of this one so that I can make improvements to the upcoming ones! It’s coming along nicely. Really like the idea the speakers. Question, is it a concern the magnetic fields of the speakers attracting dust long turn? All the magnets I have in my shop seem to have dust. I’m going to remove the magnet and replace with black EVA foam. Any thoughts? Again going well.

That’s really interesting I’d never considered that! I’ve used speakers before in pieces and I haven’t noticed them getting dustier than others (but that might just be because I haven’t been paying attention)

Take the magnets out of the speakers..they will be less than half the weight.

Thats true but the magnetic properties actually ended up being very useful in this build later on - but it's definitely worth considering for future builds where I'm trying to keep the weight down so thanks for the suggestion!
