What pisses me off is, soon as you hear someone protesting Black Lives Matter , now all of a sudden companies want to put black people in higher positions or give black people movie roles, etc. Like that’s great for them and all, but why wasn’t you doing this before. It seems like either they’re taking advantage of the opportunity to be supported by black people or they taking pity on us. Either way, that shit not cool at all. And it would be wrong to tell them to turn it down because they might need that extra money, you know? And I feel bad for feeling like this because it’s like a blessing for them. But at the same time I don’t think it’s should take the protest of people George Floyd’s and Breonna Taylor’s justice, for these people to gain these higher positions.
