When IWC raises their prices so much and gets away with it, other brands increase their prices too to maintain their market position. All these companies are reducing supply and increasing prices to create more profit that goes to the executives like at Richemont and people keep paying and defending them.
For the Tentagraph, the TEN stands for ten beats per second, the T stands for three day power reserve, the A stands for automatic, then GRAPH for chronograph.
The Genta shrine was hilarious. And The Tank Normale is absolutely incredible. In such small number, sadly I won't own one either. That said, I'm not sure better proportions on a watch exist. I'm really liking that Zenith as well.
At the moment the octo Roma is really carving my eye! I love the case changes, it’s more sporty with lume in the hands and hour markers, quick release straps etc love it

The more hate it gets from people who take this hobby too seriously, the more I love it. It's a perfect fun watch for spring and summer!

And little by little, it seems Tudor is moving in the direction to fill the void left by Rolex. Tudor is for the every day guy who just wants a fine timepiece to wear and enjoy! Whereas, Rolex has moved into investment products at insane prices. Rolex watches that, perhaps, may remain in the safe until the next big bump in prices. Who knows, maybe Tudor will become the new Rolex in 5 to 10 years. And if it were to happen - that would be fine by me.

Great list! I would add another surprise - the Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph which is literally the first Tag that’s ever truly caught my eye. Lovely dials and case shape/dimensions. Keep the great content coming - really enjoy it, and it’s saving me money (occasionally) by living vicariously through YT!
I think the BB54’s bracelet is an improvement, but I feel 39mm is a perfect size for a sports / dive watch. I love BB58’s gilt bezel numerals, red iconic triangle (Rolex Big Crown) and the snowflake seconds counter weight. All these special characteristics have been removed on the BB54. Also the lugs on the BB54 are proportionally bigger giving it a less elegant, squared look.
Think i agree with you. I loved the bb54 when it was announced but the more i see it the more i Kinda start to doubt it. Would love a tudor, but i have a GO seaq atm and it fills my diver needs greatly.

What u say about rolex is simply not true. They have a rich history going way back of funky dials, especially the day dates. This is them continuing this trend. And I love it.

The Alpine Eagle is a fusion of the Hublot Big Bang and the previous generation VC Overseas. Good looking nonetheless.
