Nice review. I have this same rifle. These days there are allot of 4500 psi compressor choices for sub $400 (less than the price of a tank.) The compressor is a good choice for those who don't have easy access to filling a tank to those levels. With a compressor, you NEVER run out of air.

That was an outstanding tribute to your dad and the Benjamin marauder FT! I have that same gun and it's all you say it is and more! With so many places getting so crowded an airgun like the Marauder is an ideal hunting/target shooting implement! Great video!

Well I've been thinking about air guns for a while and now you're starting to get me interested. I like the fact that there is quiet as they are and with that kind of pressure look out buddy. Thanks again
I used to work in a calibration lab when I was in the Navy long ago. We had some instruments that had to be tested at 10k psi, so you use 2500 psi from a nitrogen tank thru a pressure intensifier. Low volume high pressure. Lemme tell you, it's a little unnerving when a line pops off at 10k psi. lol
Having owned 3 of these Marauders , two in 25 caliber and one in .177 . I can attest to their durability, accuracy and great trigger !
I have since sold or given two to my friends to get them started with a PCP .
I will be buying another Marauder in 22 caliber but not sure if it will be a semiautomatic or bolt action with a Walther barrel .

I have this same gun. Love it.I use an SCBA tank as well,as I also have more pcps than just the Marauder.

So sorry for the loss of your dad. He killed a lot of squirrels! I got this for my birthday and can’t wait to use it. I want to put a vortex scope on it. Scope cost 149 at Acadmy. So far with my break barrel I have taken care of 117 squirrels, 4 skunks, and 1 fox. It’s been fun! The new PCP will be a blast with hardly any recoil.

I like this video, but why is the barrel band do not touch the barrel?
I shot mine today ft marauder in .22 with the lw barrel I thought there was something wrong that it wasn't feeding but it was pellet on pellet at 25 yards 5 shot the size of my pinky nail

The scope was bought separately. The rifle does not typically come with one.

This tank should fill this gun from its refill point back to full roughly 45 times.

How long can you let the air at 3000 psi in the airgun if you dont use it regulary
Storing it with pressure in it is actually better than storing it empty, so it’s no problem to leave it at 3,000 PSI.

How do you fill up the tank? How much is the tank and what’s the name? Thank you
The tank can be filled at a lot of SCUBA or paintball shops. It’s usually about $10 to fill it at most places. I get mine filled at Utah Airguns in Orem, Utah. The tank I bought is the Air Venturi 74-cubic feet carbon fiber SCBA tank. I can fill this Marauder rifle many times before I need the tank refilled.

Great video thanks. How do you fill up the tank? Do you fill it up yourself or do you take it somewhere to get it filled up? How many pallets can you shoot on one charge when you put the full pressure into the gun?
I get my tank filled at Utah Airguns. They can also be filled at a lot of SCUBA and paintball shops. Most places around here charge about $10 to do it.
With this rifle, I shoot 40 shots per full and it may even be able to do a bit more.

@@LegacyAirguns , I fill my own 97 cu ft scba tank via a 494 cu ft steel nitrogen tank that I lease form Airgas.I also use an air amplifier and shop compressor to really drain that 6k Nitrogen tank down low before I exchange it for a swap.If I lived close to a dive shop (or Utah Airguns lol),I would probably go that route but my Nitrogen works pretty well too.

I forgot to mention my condolences at the passing of your father. I have a couple more questions how long does it take to finish the tank of air when you filled it up? Could you give me a list of the fittings from the scuba tank to the gun that I need. Is the air compressed? Will a medical oxygen tank work. Lastly, what would you recommend for home/self-defense in the air gun? Both pistols and rifles. Include any other tools for self defense. Thanks!!
Just bought this. First one I received the action jammed every third shot with crosman piranha (its all I had). Just got second one on warranty and neither the barrel or the air chamber was threaded all of the way down. The barrel also touches against air chamber where its suppose to float. Even though the barrel is floating it shouldnt be bent so far that its touching against the air chamber should it? Wondering if it was dropped during shipping
How do you get the air tank filled?
I get it filled at Utah Airguns in Orem, Utah, but a lot of SCUBA and paintball shops can do it also.

In 25 cal. Booth shoot 900fps.
Also looking at a Gamo Coyote
And a Hatsan BullBoss which is 100 fps faster. What do you think?
The only one on that list that I’ve used is the Marauder. I’ve shot both the regulated and non-regulated versions and they’re both good. They were both .22 but my FX Dreamline is a .25 and I really like that caliber.
I do have a Gamo Urban, which I believe is virtually the same gun as the Coyote, but with a synthetic stock and it’s only available in .22 caliber. It’s a good rifle too, out to about 50 yards.

Would the field and target model be considered a gen 2?
The 22 seems to be more accurate than the 25 videos I have watched. Does the 22 have enough power for most small Game?
I can answer this as I have this same gun .Mine is about 22 fpe .He said his is about 23 fpe.Anyhow, the short answer to your question is Yes! I personally,have killed a woodchuck with my .22 Field and Target.I use mine for mostly starlings and house sparrows though.I would not recommend this gun for woodchuck size game as a general rule though,I just happened to be at about 25 yards and knew I could drop a pellet right down the ear hole and it worked perfectly.I shoot Air Arms 16 grain pellets in mine at about 795 fps roughly for about 60 shots before it falls off the reg.I have taken many rabbits,squirrels ,and chipmunks as well.I would stick to squirrel size game and make your first shot lethal.
