incríveis memórias angélicas presentes meus cumprimentos, há apenas uma coisa na vida que nunca morrerá e isso é MÚSICA , realmente falou tudo amigo , vc tem bom gosto
That is.........utterly fascinating. I discovered 'Find Me' after this remix, and was really spellbound by the track and music video. The eerie realistic beach filmed at nighttime with the smooth and nostalgic sounds. It was a highlight for the year for me, being engrossed in the song and music video (I think it was last year) But now, listening to this original progressive instrumental. It's always fascinating how big dance songs progress from other songs. This track I knew all along ends up to be such a moving unexpecting track. It's a bit of a less-is-more song but the whole chord structure is there. Like just imagine the creativity of converting such a 10 minute song into a 4 minute pop masterpiece. Quite interesting.
I saw my own comment and what like 'Really they did!??' Then I remembered, it was in the 1999 Nightlife Tour. Pretty phenomenal. Since my comment I've learnt they also played this during the 1994 Discovery tour in some of the shows. Rather than performing it, they played it from tape during intermission half way through the concert. They half-dimmed the lights so people know it's a break. There's a bootleg recording, you get to hear the audience react to the different bits of the song and honestly it'll give you goosebumps. Also it gives a new context to the song, imagine hearing it after hearing PSB do all these live songs and you're at the venue thinking about buying a drink or some merchandise and everyone's really excited and having a good time. In a way the song is less significant for this since it's the pre-recorded track you're meant to ignore but with the way the song flows ambiently it's so perfect. th-cam.com/video/FlOBX0AjKmw/w-d-xo.html I imagine most of the audience were hearing it for the first time.
NOW I'm finding I was completely wrong. I was thinking about the Jam & Spoon mix of Young Offender which is fairly similar. If I was I wrong then why did people upvote. Anyway I mustn't be as drunk enough as I was during the last comment since I'm making sense. Isn't it fascinating how TH-cam recommended me a clip of PSB performing Young Offender Jam & Spoon remix Live after watching this.
Best PSB remix hands down!
Just been watching a PSB interview where Neil said this was his favourite remix as he enjoys the journey it goes on.
