- We flew on Royal Jordanian’s flagship Boeing 787-8 Aircraft from London Heathrow to Amman, Jordan in our latest cabin comparison! Liam got to try out Crown Class (business) while Nicky was seated back in economy.

RJ is super underrated. Took it from Chicago to Amman without any complaints.

@@Mujahedkhan989 When I did I got a really cheap price so that’s pro. Meals, snacks, entertainment is all good. One issue is it’s just long flight.

Bro I think I was with you on that flight last year I went from Chicago to Amman on RJ (btw I’m Jordanian)
I love the way you time the crew to see how fast they respond to the call button. I live in Canada and with air Canada and air Canada rouge, you press the call button and literally they try to avoid you and if you ask them for a coffee or water, they give you dirty looks. 10sec, 1min, 1/2hr, 4 hr, landed, still no one shows up 😂😂😂
Our country's "service" culture is the worst I've experienced in the world and I've been to over a dozen countries 😭

I think its nice and fair that you guys take turns in different classes so 1 of you dont have to always choose economy etc
A tip for the 787, if your flying in economy, go for the last two rows, the window seat is missing due to the curvature of the plane so there's more room.

You didn't mention the cardamon coffee upon boarding! The best part of the RJ experience. That, and the bed - it's THE most comfortable bed in the sky, in my experience. Lovely and pillowy and soft. Bliss!

Jordan is a country I've thought about visiting & RJ does seem like a decent airline. I'm an Amex fan but if I went for 1 of their charge cards I'd most likely stick with the green because the annual fees for the higher ones are crazy. Even when factor in the perks.

I always fly RJ when going back to my home country Lebanon by going on their DTW-AMM-BEY route and it’s a long flight but I don’t hate it will sitting in economy jamming to their welcoming music underrated airline

Royal Jordanian has to be my favorite airlines. I have been to it to visit Iraq my country, and also back to America. Very good experience even though it was economy class.

Royal Jordanian is better than expected, much better than Air India.

When you say “lots of legroom” in economy please qualify that. From earlier vids I think Nicky is erm… not tall. Lots of legroom for a shorty is very different for someone over 6ft.

Must be some new definition of the word "Massive" that I have not heard before. That footwell looked TINY! That and the 2-2-2 configuration assures that I won't be flying RJ anytime soon if I have a choice on the route.
@@zork999 Liam himself described the footwell as “massive.” My comment simply used his own adjective. Your subjective opinion apparently differs. If you have flown RJ, you’ll know yourself. If not, we’re left with Liam’s opinion. Either way, it’s a matter of individual perception, not an understanding of definitions.

Do a challenge with Nicky. A free upgrade challenge, where he tries his best to being upgraded for free on an economy ticket. Disallowed arguments: TH-cam, media production, subscriber counts and so on.
Love TPG Uk - however when you review economy you almost always never have anyone sitting next to you and you are never in the middle of a center 3 or 4 seat row surround by other passengers. I think this would be a more a realistic reflection of the actual experience in economy IMO. I have flown 12 transatlantic flights this year and every single flight was fully booked so I think you should consider this as the perceptions can be extremely different to the reality. Hope you all have a very merry Christmas!

The fact that the name of the airline begins with Royal, tells me that it will have pretty good standards, which is a positive factor to start off with.

How often do people sneak the blankets into their bags lol? What happens to the ones left on the aircraft? I should add that over the last 30 +years Royal Jordanian have always been on my bucket list, I first came across them in 1988 on my way to Hong Kong, I ended up with Gulf Air instead, but even that was outstanding. I’ll try RJ next year on my way to Israel, followed by Emirates. The Abraham accords mean it’s safe for us to fly emirates now. One day Qatar? Lol maybe not…

No its not , Nicky is showing us here that even while traveling econemy there are alternitive ways to make your journey a bit easier .
I travel often in econamy but have opted for a priority pass card especialy to have lounge access when i travel , i've flown low cost and sat in business lounge pre flight ....
Good service & great food for the price. Alcoholic drinks are served evethough its a Muslim country. The landing is always smooth.
