I've had every vaccine under the sun and always was resentful towards the person poking me, not my mom. ( Mom was the person who brought us to doctor's appointments the most. I don't mean for the specification to be assumption of your gender.)

If my kid got screwed up tonsils like I have they’re getting them taken out before the problems start. Like I didn’t know you were supposed to be able to feel them every time you spoke or swallowed anything n I thought it was normal for them to swell to the point of my breathing becoming an issue 💀

Depending on the pediatrician and the surgeon, they may not do the procedure just because you ask. I *almost* got mine removed but just missed meeting the criteria for it. Granted I'm in my mid-thirties now, so the criteria may have changed since the 90s.
