Thanks for this, we have just been given one of these and got it started but it is missing a petrol cap and we can find them anywhere - apparently Parkside caps are a bit different. The one we used which is a standard leaked. Any ideas where we could find one, we have put out an ad on FB marketplace..

Hi, my friend bought that, he didn't put any oil, just petrol. After maybe 3min the engine stopped. It was really hot when touched, he told me. Do you think that machine is gone forever, or should we take off all the petrol out, and mix everything again with oil and start again?

I fear that engine is gone ... Pistons probably burned out without lubrication ...

Hi Don. Could you show how to adjust the carburetor? Mine is cutting out on idle and you have to be holding in the throttle yo get it to start ... thanks!

You should probably just adjust throttle spring, it is easy there is just one screw

Any info on servicing these? We have one, been great, but it is bogging down lately. I took it apart like other youtube videos but its built differently. Doesnt have mesh filter on exhaust like others. Cleaned the carb too. Could it be old fuel? Cuts out if you ref it up. Thanks

I use 40:1 for all china made small engines. I prefer fully synthetic oil
