Thank you, PJ. Aging IS a privilege, and once you said that it brought tears to my eyes because I keep hanging on to how I used to look and feel instead of accepting who I am today. I'm 60 not 30 and I've got to embrace this with a healthy diet, exercise, stress management, and a good night's sleep. So much common sense is washed away when you are stuck in the past. Time for us all to keep moving forward and loving who we are!
Thanks PJ, great video. I’m 65 and miss the days when I had a waist and visible eyelids……but I have come to terms with the fact that though my appearance will not be the same, I can still feel and look good.
PJ! You rock! I was a daily runner ages 12-48 (40's a jogger). Running/jogging just lost its luster and was not effective at 48. I've been a staunch Patreon patron of yours for almost 3 years now. My most valued personal time is with you after work 6 days per week.I've never felt better, or looked better in my life! I have visible muscle strength everywhere, crazy mobility and better balance because of all of that. Weight training (HUGE!!!), protein and NEAT is where it is at for me...now in perimenopause! At work, I sprint up the stairs, 2 at a time, when no one is around. :0) And getting rid of the assholes in your life helps a lot too! You're expertise and coaching have changed my life. THANK YOU!!! HUGS!!
Thank you PJ! I had a hysterectomy last October and needed to hear all of this, especially the end. Trying to not be so hard on myself. You rock as always!!
Thank you PJ for reminding me that I’m fit and strong - with your help of course. You’ve transformed my body and mind into a more fitter and healthier person. Muah!❤
Thanks PJ. This video will help me to remember we have only one body take care of it. I have been following you know for 3 months and I am seeing results in losing fat but not the weight I just keep on trucking because you inspired me to work harder.
Thanks PJ for keeping it real. I find it hard as there are so many celebrities in their 50's plus looking amazing and you think if they have a flat tummy why can't I. Then I remind myself I have 2 kids, a job and a house to run and I don't have the luxury of time to exercise all the time. So now I have learnt to keep it real and exercise with 3 times a weeks and you keep me grounded and make me laugh. I've been much happier since I stopped comparing myself to other people and acceptance is the kindest gift we can give ourselves. I haven't given up I've wised up and am in tune with my needs and no longer fighting with it. So thank you for the grounded advice. Xx
I feel like the information you share with us is always things we need to hear. I appreciate your perspective and you sharing your knowledge. Thanks, PJ-so glad I found you!
So informative and inspirational! The truth-telling reality check is beneficial, too. Until last summer, I didn't experience many menopausal symptoms, and symptoms that I hadn't recognized as menopausal actually were. It's been difficult at times to accept, but, I am doing better coming to terms with my situation, andworjking to better manage my health. Thank you, PJ!
Good Morning PJ, Thank you so much for your inspirational message. I will definitely sit down and take a hard look into all your points mentioned. One point you mentioned is my NEAT does need a little more work. I will definitely work on that more along with tweaking out eating habits a bit more. To all of you beautiful ladies out there each of you are amazing and beautiful. I applaud each of you in your journey. Thank you PJ for all that you do. You are amazing lady.❤
Thank you, PJ! Everything you shared on this video makes so much sense! I’m 62 and challenging myself to get out of the house and snow shoe more as we head into winter (instead of fretting that I can no longer look good in a two piece bathing suit! Ha) Snowshoeing is something I can realistically do right outside my door! You are such an inspiration. This video was excellent!
This is the 2nd time I’ve heard menopause doesn’t cause weight gain and I’m starting to agree. I get annoyed because I have been working out with weights since I was 27. Let’s just say the bottom half of my body doesn’t reflect it like it use too 😆 That said, I’ve recently FINALLY admitted to myself that if I look back to my habits from when I was my most fit and healthy, they have definitely changed. I started more emotional eating about 7 years ago and let it become a habit. And then, these little changes that you have added, that you don’t think amount to much on the daily, actually do, and then years later, everything has slowly caught up to you and you feel like your body just changed overnight or within a year or two when actually I’ve slowly been doing it to myself for years. More than one treat/dessert a day, snacking after dinner, butter on my vegetables…just little things I never felt the desire or need to do before, so I’ve been reigning it in with the sugar and over eating and even though I can’t see a difference, I feel better and hopefully a year from now, I will fill see the results of the compound effect. Oh, and my NEAT is definitely down now that I work from home and just have a 10 ft walk to the bathroom 😮
True. But that said, there are a lot of women who haven’t changed a thing with their diet or exercise, and still gaining weight 🙄 I’m lucky in that I’m close to 5’10 so 10 pounds on me is not as noticeable to others, especially when I was trim to begin with. And can we at LEAST blame the redistribution or reshaping of the body fat we do have on menopause? 😂😂
The worst is dealing with stress. After 2 weeks of holiday , when I ate a lot I had flat stomach. When I came back to "normal" life and started to check what I eat and doing seroius workouts I didn't have flat stomach but big stomach.
I love the look of this workout but have just been diagnosed with arthritis in my hip( I’m only 51). My physio has told me that I can’t do drop lifts, lungs or squats. How am I going to carry on with doing your fitness videos. I’m devastated!! 😢
Please talk again with your physio to determine what you CAN do! We lunge and squat in our daily lives (getting in and out of our car/going to bathroom etc). It's generally important to keep arthritic joints moving! 😃
Thanks PJ!❤ I'm 44 and currently my body is changing in weird ways...and I just want the body I did in my 30s...thank you for the last bit of the video...I'll do my best to embrace the body I have now...let's be honest, if it can do your workouts, it's pretty awesome 😂 😊😊😊
Thanks PJ, I have been following you for about 3 years with my fitness journey ❤… love your workouts 🏋🏼♀️…. I also follow Dr Mary Clare Haver to help me with my menopause symptoms.

Exactly! It is often the little things that become habits! You are on the right road now! 😃
