Thanks for answering my question. Then I think my mistake when i use shield is that i get too aggressive when i see my opponent run away out of my sight... And end up being bait by them 😅
Shield rework was 100% a buff for Monty, I didn’t find your and glenny’s channels before the rework, and didn’t really notice it in game, but damn the old running animation was bad! No idea how would you play aggressive with old monty.
Oh yeah I did have another question as well, why do you use clash pistol since I feel like in my experience the auto pistol is better is pretty much every scenario?
The pistols has some benefits to it compared to the smg such as: better hipfire, tiny clean red dot, faster movement speed, no recoil. What gun i bring depends on the situation i am going to play in. Am i holding in a very cqb area where i can focus on 1 area (prep on kafe/bunker on oregon), bring shorty. Are my teamates failing to hold angles or spots on obj where the enemy is pushing in requiring a more aggresive playstyle, bring smg. Do i want to spawn peak or dont have to take gunfights becuase my team can hold areas off me and my info, bring pistol (can rotate faster).
@@azurath11 oh I didn’t know the pistol had faster move speed on it I thought it had faster swap speed a long time ago but I think they removed it. The shorty being brought makes complete sense and I as a clash enjoyer bring it sometimes too, I appreciate the reply on your thoughts as well.
What do you do when monty is banned as a shield player? My reaction time SUCKS and I rely on shields to let me have an easier time in gun fights and grabbing map control quickly
Usually i default to blitz since he can achieve somewhat the same effectiveness when it comes to map control and pressure. Gun play is still a core part of siege however and working on it and your reaction time will help overall whether your playing shields or not.
