It's not free energy, it's energy conserved through storage in the spring that is tendon/fascia
I like to call this feature as elastic recoil or stored elastic energy.
Do you have any books or training resources for the average Joe that works in an office? Thanks!
how can i know if i fascia or muscle driven?
Guys this is a dangerous edge to play. You look at nfl WR and DBs, they hit the weight room. Don’t use this as an excuse to skip weight training. I did and I actually got slower, it was only when I used these in combination with Bulgarian split squats, rdls, etc that I started becoming faster. This concept isn’t revolutionary. It’s called plyometrics. It should be combined with tempo weight training (or traditional weight training with explosive movement’s incorporated). Don’t make my mistake
I have immense experience on the how to get stronger/faster thing and my realization is that lifting weights and doing gymwork will not result in injuries or any athletic disadvantage AS LONG AS YOU ALREADY ARE FASCIA DRIVEN. So my advice would be to first spend 6-9 months training fascia, transforming your body into a holistic unit and basically stabilizing your whole body because fascia/connective tissue is superior to muscle as it embraces and connects every single muscle fiber on your body. All footballers like Messi, Ronaldo and great athletes in general like those you mentioned have been facial driven since always and then they hit the gym at like 20. For fascia exercises I recommend the basic hft exercises by coach Chong Xie
I have seen immense improvements since I started training fascia especially in explosiveness/acceleration and stamina
It is not the same as plyometrics dont get those confused
Just try it out you have nothing to lose and you have more to gain
