I've been finding a number of homemade beaded necklaces at thrift stores that were poorly designed, but made of really good components. Some with real gemstone beads, real freshwater pearls, beautiful glass beads, sterling findings, etc. I've found these to be great for repurposing and creating something new and better.
Definitely! That’s a perfect way to get good supplies for making jewelry! if they’re damaged or poorly made. Usually if it’s vintage/ collectible and not beyond repair I attempt to repair it but some pieces are better to repurpose and redesign into something beautiful 🤩 ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
This was a very good video, Pam. I definitely appreciate how you showed us a few different ways to repair and even create something new out of the broken pieces. I will for sure be saving any bits and pieces now! And the ones you created were all lovely 😍
Thank you Ellie! I appreciate it and I’m so happy you liked them! Those pieces are usually worth saving, plus it’s fun to create with them🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You know your right🤔 I thought the idea was good but it doesn’t fit as well as I had imagined. I believe it would look better on a single strand! Thank you for watching and I hope you’ve had a great weekend😊❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@barbarasafrit139 I will certainly give it a try I think because it’s a three strand necklace it may look better as is? But I’ll see how the rose pendant will look. Good idea! 👍🏻❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰😊😊
I love the one you turned into a pendant necklace. If you could make more videos like this, that would helpful. I have a bunch of thin wire bangle bracelets that I am trying to figure out a way to repurpose into something new. Any ideas?
Hi Kate! Oh I love Teresa’s idea! An idea I’ve been toying with is to take three skinny wire bangles, stack them and put larger jump rings around them to hold them together and then attach small necklace pendants or charms to turn them into unique charm bracelets. Hopefully that description makes sense? If not I will make a note to do a video on it. Thank you for watching 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love watching repairs and repurposing. I love the tassel on the heart. Thanks for sharing.
The tassel was a great idea Teresa! I believe you mentioned it and you were dead on! It looks like it belongs there! Thank you!😊🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love the idea of taking vintage or broken jewelry and repurposing them. Beads can be really expensive. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Your right it can be so expensive to buy jewelry supplies new 😊🥰❤️❤️❤️
Great
Thank you! I appreciate you watching 😊❤️🥰❤️

Hi Denise! You’re welcome and I hope you enjoyed it. I always like sharing ideas ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love everything you did but the glass heart on the 3 strand just doesn’t seem like it belongs. Great use of the chain.

I agree on the glass heart and 3 strand necklace!
@@VintageVarietyPlease try the rose pendant on the 3 strand black necklace! I might be totally wrong but I’m thinking it might look better!
@@barbarasafrit139 thank you 😊❤️❤️❤️

I am going to try using thin bangles for wind chimes. I have an abundance. Have no idea whether it will work but thought I would share.😊
That's a good idea! I'd love to see how it turns out.
