Hi Mary !😊 I don't know if you have tried this for your hair but I have the same type of hair and those headbands slide right out as well. I have started putting a little bit of texturizing spray in my hair before and I let it dry and it helps grip the hair better. Just something to try if you haven't already. ❤❤
