  • Make the Raspberry Pi Pico the core of your new robotics project with the Kitronik Compact Robotics Board for Raspberry Pi Pico.
This Compact Robotics Board enables the Raspberry Pi Pico (connected via pin header) to drive 4 motors (or 2 stepper motors) and 8 servos. It also features 27 other I/O expansion points and Power and Ground connections.

Is there any info on how to use the breakout pins? Could I use them to light up a LED for example?

Hi and thanks for the question, All of the pins of the Pico that are not in use for the motor/servo connectors are broken out, 27 connections in total. They can be used to drive additional external devices such as sensors or ZIP LEDs.
The breakouts are in the form of solder pads, located underneath where the an inserted Pico will sit and they can be soldered to. The pads have a direct connection to an inserted Pico and can therefore be used in exactly the same way as the headers soldered to the Pico.
      I hope this helps.

could I connect 2 dc motors and 1 stepper motor with this board?

Hi and thanks for the question. Yes you can. Please note, when used with a stepper motor, half-stepping is supported - but not micro-stepping.
There is more information on the datasheet: resources.kitronik.co.uk/pdf/5329-Pico-robotics-board-datasheet.pdf
      I hope this helps.

It would be really nice if you guys create Pico Robotics board for the Arduino Nano Connect (which uses the RP2040 but doesnt have the same pinout as pico) Because the robotics board is great however it lacks any wireless communication.

It might be something that we explore in the future.

Is there any difference between continuous servo and standard servo if I want to use Servo Library/ For continous servo it doesnt do what I want (it keeps spining)

Unfortunately this board does not work correctly with Pi Pico W

@@kitronik Hi, how to solve this?

I try to drive two N20 DC motors both wit pi pico and pi pico W , but it's not work for both board . I've found that the supply voltage to PCA9685 is lower than operating range of the chip . I don't know how to solve this problem. Iuse the waveshare PCA9685 motor driver boad which is very similar to this board . it's work without any problem .
