I immediately fell in love with this song and with Robin from the moment I heard it; I was moved, and immediately sat down to record. Most of the vocal you hear in this cover was recorded after listening to the song for a few times, right on the spot, while my emotions were at a high because that was how compelled I felt to sing it.
It's very rare for me to feel like songs fit my voice; it's very light, soft, thin. I've always felt really insecure about it for that reason, so hearing someone like Chevy singing this kind of song with her clear and pure singing kind of reminded me that I can just sing however I want and I have my own strengths too.
I also want to thank people in my community/chat for suggesting I check out this song! I hope you guys really like it - this is all for you guys.
