I worked on every kind of commercial building you can name in my 31 years of drywall finishing. By far pharmaceutical companies have the most expensive office building I've seen. The interiors of their buildings have tons of unnecessary decorative stuff like some walls were finished level 7. I never seen the paint code so I asked what kind of paint he was using. Turns out it was a super high gloss car paint. Yeah,, pharmaceutical companies have ALOT of money.

What we need is term limits on all seats. If a president can only serve 2 terms why are all other seats infinite? 2 term max for all , that will keep it mixed up and no time to collude with one another. They would have to get things done and work for the people not themselves.

One thing the Military-Industrial Complex learned from Vietnam was that if you only drafted the lower middle class, the lower class, and the rural boys, then nobody cares. The saying is true but in a fascist context they don't refer to private industries when they say corporation.
This is so important. I used to teach at a junior college, & this particular video (of the first three) would be so useful for young people. I hope others have continued to update this information. It is very good to hear hopeful voices, even from those most knowledgable about the stranglehold of power by the power elite.
The bigger problem then all this, is the fact that most people simply don't care. No interest in any of this as long as their lives aren't affected by it. And that's a problem

This is interesting cause Juan Bosch (who was president of the Dominican Republic) had written a book titled "Pentagonism: A Substitute For Imperalism", before Ike had given his speech. In the book, Juan Bosch details the American military industrial complex. I recommend the book for people to read.
The late Jim Marrs mentioned something about this in his book "Rise of the Fourth Reich". I've read it, and it is a sobering eye-opener.

A little known part of the complex is the highway, warehousing and logistics systems. Many highways were built for war. And the modern warehousing and logistics systems means that cities around the globe are in constant states of resupply. Its such a tenuous system, and requires a lot of resources to keep it going. how many weeks/days could a modern city survive without a food delivery? And think of the power those who run these systems hold.

Yeah, and Eisenhower really showed his love and compassion for everyone when he kept thousands of German soldiers in open-air camps AFTER the war to starve and die from the elements and lack of food and water! And the mass bombing with incendiary bombs of Dresden, Germany, at thev end of the war, which was a mixture of refugees and private citizens! The estimates are between 30,000 (determined by the allies!) to over 100,000 determined by Germany. There were many thousands of refugees there from around Europe, who believed that the allies wouldn't bomb there because it wasn't a military target, and because it had so much historical value. And then there's the murder of General Patton, who wanted to continue on to destroy Russia, but Eisenhower and the US leaders didn't want it! (They had too much interest involved!) There's A LOT of hidden history about WWI-WWII, that our government and our "allies?" would rather you not know!

Eisenhower is always credit for alerting us of the dangers of what he called "the military industrial congressional complex," the "MIC complex." He delivered this famous oration at the end of his so-called "Farewell Speech."
Sadly, no one ever mentions what Eisenhower said at the beginning of that speech, something puts everything in a different perspective that the one most people have when they cite this speech. They cite it incorrectly, out of context.
At the beginning of his "Farewell Speech" talks about the need to expand the role of the CIA to include covert operations. CIA is not arguing against the MIC complex; he's arguing that a new and enhanced CIA can do a better job at empire, cheaper too. He's saying, give me my CIA, and look how much money I can save you, enough for schools and all this good social stuff.
Eisenhower got what he wanted, the black ops arm of the CIA;. Thanks to Eisenhowever, we now have what some are calling, MICIMATT complex, short for Military, Industrial, Congressional, Intelligence, Media, Academia, Think Tank complex.
Contrary to popular belief, Eisenhower wasn't trying to stop the bleeding, he was trying to and succeeded in making the bleeding more widespread.
Yeah, I thought his message was basically saying that we can do the same job and get the same result in foreign affairs and global politics by going covert and focusing on black ops and covert involvement with plausible deniability. The age of large-scale warfare has become untenable since the tv coverage of Vietnam showed how unpopular traditional wars are, even in America where we’ve always been the first to throw the first punch.

Excellent; except for the blurb, 'Koch Brothers funds voter ID laws'. That one was a sour note. When African American voters were asked in a street video if they had an ID (drivers license, library card, Soc Security card, etc) they said, "of course!" They said clearly that they were not against voter ID requirements. That one is common sense. It does not suppress anyone's vote, but ensures fairness and legality.
Addendum: did you notice how the documentary starts with President Eisenhour, a Republican, military and Conservative leader and ends with him? Then throughout it features Conservative values and Leftist activists against the 'system'. That is because the classical Liberals (Left) and Conservatives have the same ultimate goals. There should be no divide in America politically. It is manufactured by these 'powers that be', the 1% puppetmasters. A new slogan, "Moderate Liberals and Conservatives Unite!" 'Divide and conquer' needs to go.

Not with your highlighting of EISENHOWER's intent/culpability, but with the notion that there should be no divide in American politics... America has NO DIVIDE in its the US political paradigm at present, or since Eisenhower was POTUS... The reason being, is that most Americans do not understand true left - socialist - politics and are even in fear of such an ideology. They have mostly been indoctrinated by the McCarthy era paranoia, later amplified by the dissolusion of the Soviet Union.
What America really needs, is for its - I will call it - 'Ultra-left-wing' citizens - comrades - to rise to the point that they create a viable counterpoint to capitalist - neo-con - governances. In fact, the more the merrier - proportional respresentation would be the fairest system ultimately.
