God damn..extend the angled road a bit more n let the empty trucks come down the steep section so they don't impede the loaded ones. Also keep the road maintained at all times. Simple solutions to increase production n keep trucks out of the shop but maybe they have money to burn so don't care 🤷 lol
I hate to be an armchair operator, but after watching ten minutes of this I have to comment. If I had empty trucks stacked up waiting, and saw that they were having trouble getting up the hill to get to the fill and tearing up an already beat up haul road, I would surely start loading them lighter. The guy seems like a competent operator, maybe he's got one of those foremen who just likes to see dirt rolling off of the sides of the trucks, who knows?
I was watching rocks, dirt falling out the back. Don't they own a bulldozer to level those roads? sounds like a simple fix. can't imagine what all that tittering back and forth on the dump end does to the suspension. climb out looks steep besides, again, a bulldozer perhaps to lessen the slope? Gotta take a toll on equipment.
Nice Video and not wishing to sound like a armchair expert of which there are way to many on you tube, but why where the ADT's pulling up that really steep slope climbing over the rocks that had fallen of the loads before and risking tyre damage for no apparent reason , when empty dumpers where coming down and even waiting and blocking the lesser more traversing route out of that cut adjacent . It took till 18.25 for a load to leave by what I should imagine was the best way all very Impressive but not i would assume good practice
noticed the Ec750 operator gave two horn blasts to the ADT's with large rocks on...letting them know to take the less steep route out, seems the ADT's were coming in by both routes, one, early on, made his own route down to avoid an outbound.. either way, tough climb, that EC750 literally 'Rocks' though !
Awesome footage of the excavator loading what seems like limestone or basalt?? I'm guessing each load was 50 - 70 tons. Wonder where the material tipped? Keep up the good work
The A30 has a rated load capacity of 28 metric tons (probably up to 30 when heaped high), so not quite that heavy. Still an impressive job nonetheless.

Young crew, don't think so much about saving tires and the equipment as an older generation would do, only want to get things done quickly, used to someone has deep pockets and replace whatever is runied on the trucks constantly.
